a wonderful way to explore a very interesting topic i previously knew nothing about. ambitious for a first time with ink, you're nonetheless right that this could use sounds and images, though your descriptions are highly evocative already. would love some kind of persistent display of where i was on the calendar!

this is a very meditative game. it made me feel both connected and apart from the changing world outside. really beautifully done.

This is super cute! Almost meditative in how calming it is. I really enjoyed the balcony one, and wished that the text changes if you went back to things or in a different order. But that aside, I enjoyed playing this short and sweet game.

Thank you! Yes, I had some plans for changing text but currently they only change when you change the season. There are four versions of each location, and will be more when I get to finishing up the rest of the seasons. Currently time only moves forward if you go to sleep.

Oh I adore the concept of this game. Adding art at a later stage will definitely enhance it, I rather like silence for narrative games, music can get so distracting and overbearing. It made me very nostalgic (I lived in Japan for a year) and they definitely have a deep appreciation for the seasons. This is such a positive-feel good game and each option feels like a grounding exercise. Lovely!

Thank you! I was really interested in the concept when I was first introduced. I'm hoping to be able to add the rest of the seasons later. And it's funny you mention that, because I feel the opposite about music! I love a really subtle or poignant background music as I read - one of my previous Game Jams, Lost Tomorrow, was made with me and a team of REALLY incredible musicians who added some creepy atmospheric music. I'm hoping to find some good public domain music, possibly some bird or insect sounds as well to add in.

Thank you for playing and reviewing! We could all use a little grounding this week :)

Cool idea with calendar! I think it would be even better if you used the Ink function to hide the used options)

Yes I was thinking the same, but I got held up figuring out functions and didn't do too many play throughs to test playability. I'm hoping to tighten up a few things like that and add the rest of the seasons later, maybe some art and music as well.

Thanks for playing and commenting!
