I was really surprised when playing this game, the art is simple but executed very well and you could see that the artist knew where he wanted to go with the monochromatic style along with the retro style.

Even using mechanics from a conventional platform game, it was still fun, the inertia and momentum to move between platforms was very well done and challenging to complete the stage (If there is an update for the second stage, I look forward to it).

If there was a song to accompany it would be amazing, I was looking to see if my headphones weren't turned off hahaha.

Congratulations to the developers and much success in your games comrades :D

Well, with the audio, I spent too much time on the mechanics and I ran out of time to implement audio; First-time mistake. Thanks

This is simple but fun since the controls feel good to use :) Well done!

I like the monochrome look of the game, and the character animation is pretty good too. The controls feel nice, and it's so fun despite the simplicity. I wish I could play more, but I'm sure you're aware of the level 2 bug.

Thanks, I am going to playtest my jam games more because of the bug

A little buggy, but a good start. I think with some more time, you could turn it into something really fun.

I like the graphics a lot. Monochromatic is NOT easy :)

I thought there wouldn't be much more to it than a simple platformer game, but something about it seems really cool. I like the pixel-perfect parallax sky especially (even though it seems a little buggy), and the interesting jumping. If I could give one suggestion, I would appreciate if there were three different buttons for jumping, so a player could play in whatever style is comfortable to them. W, space, and up arrow. Especially since there aren't any in-game instructions, it could save the player from a little bit of frustration. Although maybe you use those keys later on for a different mechanic? I wish I could play the next level! Oh and also I'm not quite sure what those spike boxes are. Are they spike boxes? Anyway, good game!

In new Games/GameJams I will account for your suggestion, thanks! Also the spike boxes are thorn bushes.

Simple, but effective, little platformer. I like the art; the monochrome style really works for me.

I'm not a huge fan of the level design with the leap of faith into a fan that blows you into spikes. But I'll admit, it did make me laugh a little when I first fell into it, whether that was the intention or not. It's too bad that level 2 seems to be busted. I see that you're aware of the bug; is the rest of the game completely unplayable right now, or is there a way around it? I'd love to be able to play a bit more to better rate the game.

Overall, this game is good at exactly what it needs to be good at for a simple little platformer. Good work!

After the jam I'm going to update it so that it works, it just doesn't un pause the game. I fixed the bug already though I'm pretty sure that I cant update it during the rating.
