Very well implementation of the mechanics of the great Space Invaders, the bonuses to improve the shots made the gameplay very cool.
As other comments have already said about the bug with the shots running out, I'm not going to be repetitive, because the game was fun and well done, certainly with more time and specific adjustments it would be even better.

This is pretty fun! It controls well and the music is juuust right. The only problem that I have is that at some point, the blaster just stopped working and wouldn't shoot (even though the sound effect was still playing), but then running into the enemies with your ship is actually quite satisfying! I feel like there's a fun concept behind that fact, and I'd like to see this evolve more. Excellent work!

cool concept especially with the graphics! there really doesnt seem to be an objective in this game which makes playing it unrewarding to players, and its unclear what the letter things do. I also encountered a bug (?) where i just couldn't shoot despite the sound being played. The sounds are great but the music doesn't loop (probably a bug). Overall the game was quite fun, good job!
haha all of that is accurate and fair. Life got in the way and I just did not have time to put in those little details like winning, or a score system, or death etc etc.
So last minute i decided to just make it an infinite loop rather than one very brief level.
Unsurpisingly this had…side effects haha

Pretty cool looking and great sounds. Powerups seem a little confusing on what they do and sometimes me smashing the shoot key caused it to stop working so I started running into enemies and hearing the sound and seeing the sprites change was fun. :-) good job

Loved it, the ships that matched my position to shoot me and the twins that circled around each other where lovely. Only problem i had was that the shooting sound played without actually shooting any bullets. Good work on your second jam!

This is a nice little game! It's a shame you couldn't get everything you wanted to finished, but your concept is very cool, and what you have plays well.
And of course, keeping scope in control isn't a bad lesson to learn, and you came out the other end of it with a neat little prototype that you could absolutely expand if you wanted to. So I don't think I'm crazy in saying, great work!
Thanks! I may continue working on it, but honestly I think a ground up rebuild would be a better idea than trying to expand. The back end is a MESS haha.

Lots of room to grow, great track. Shooters be shooters be shooters but I like the premise of doing a graphics based era switch, that actually is pretty original, can't say I have ever seen that done anywhere before.
Thanks! I do try to have something original when I make a game. Unfortunately this PARTICULAR original idea involved 3x the graphics and several switching systems haha.
