Very spooky! Fun game, though I didn't see any connection with the special feature. The ghost seems very quick: once it gets close, it was almost impossible to outrun it. Took me several attempts to get to the exit.

Thanks! After hearing some thoughts about the game I realised I went a bit too far with the difficulty. Glad you managed to beat it anyways. And if you remember seeing the yellow light on your playthrough, it was from the eye of god floating above you, so that's the special feature

the game looks and sounds great however I have not been able to beat the game it is far too difficult.

the ghost catches up to the player if you are running and I'm not sure if the eye of god does anything?

other than that it is alright, keep it up!

Thanks and yeah, I made the game a bit too difficult, didn't really have time to watch my friends playtest it. The eye actually gives you a small stamina buff so it's easier to outrun the ghost. I'll make sure to either add a difficulty setting or make collecting the first 5 coal easier, while still having collecting more be challenging

Interesting little horror, I liked it. There are obvious problems with polygons, but they do not interfere with the gameplay. You can refine it and make it a full-fledged horror

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it. We are definitly planning on making a better, more serious version of this concept
