How did you implement the theme?
You are a mech and have to try and keep your chassis intact in the arena in order to survive and win. The idea being that you DONT let your chassis get destroyed.

How did you add the special object?
All the mechs have a chassis and they must protect it to survive. You can attach parts to your chassis to try and protect it whether that be weapons or armour.

This game is so fun. Really fun. Upgrading the part is a genius idea. Good job.

Good game, I really liked the upgrade system. The difficulty levels of the waves are well balanced. The fact that the items we get have different features compared to each other is also nice, allowing the player different customizations.I couldn't finish the game completely, but different health regeneration systems after certain waves would be nice.

Thanks for playing my game. I agree that the game was definetly to difficult, especially some of the later waves. Your right there could have been some more ways to regain health as scrapping parts did not give that much back to the player. Maybe I could have made it so that in the later waves scrapping gave more health.

The game is fun. And the theme is well implemented. I found a bug where when the enemy is very close it is not possible to hit him.

Also I would somehow differentiate the color of the enemies.

Overall a good job.

Thanks for playing!

I definetly agree that the enemies should have probaly been different also I think the enemies projectiles should also have been a different color/shape.

I was struggling a bit with implementing the player shooting because I wanted the player to shoot towards the mouse and not have both arms shoot past the mouse. However that led the player to being able to shoot bullets sideways so I just done a dirty fix of not allowing the player to shoot their weapons if the mouse is over or behind the weapons. Not sure if i'm going to keep working on the game but if I do i'll try and put a better system in place.

I enjoyed playing this. I did not complete all the waves, but I can certainly see other people taking the time to. I like the whole "switching out parts of your character" upgrade system, it adds more variety to the combat. The only thing I would change are the sound effects. I feel like there should be sound effects for when you get hit, or when you hit an enemy. I know there is one for when you destroy an enemy, but I think it would make the combat more satisfying. Plus, it would be more apparent when you are being hit and taking a lot of damage. Nice job!

Thanks for playing the game! There actually was a sound effect for when the player took damage but I think it was probaly to low to even notice. I definetly agree that there should have been sound effects for the enemys taking hits aswell. I added the sound effects and music last and rushed to get it finished so I didn't but as much thought into it as I should have. Thanks again for playing and leaving a comment :)
