Great game! Love the animations, especially the dying animation. I am not skilled enough to climb very far. My wish would be that the character is a little less slippery. But that said, this is great work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I definitely need to fix the slipping of the character. It can be pretty frustrating sometimes!

Loved the little intro scene and the dying animation!

The game was a good amount of challenging that made me want to keep going until the end though I'll admit I wasn't able to make it there. Very thankful for the checkpoint mechanic :)

Ok I came back to it after cooling down for a bit and finally made it to the end. Really enjoyed this one!

Thanks! I know the last couple of levels do get pretty frustrating. Thank you for sticking through and finishing it!

This is definitely one of my favorites!
It's really fun and the movement feels so good!
I really liked it

Developer

Thanks! I think I need to increase friction, sometimes you fall because you slid off a window. Great to hear that you liked the grapple physics!

It was interesting to play! A funny character, enjoyable mechanics—I had a great time playing!
I would recommend not using RigidBody2D for character control, but rather using CharacterBody—it will make the controls even more precise!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I actually did use a CharacterBody2D for the player, but I do need to tweak the physics and controls a bit.

This game was really fun!

The grapple mechanic seemed very well made.

It took me about half an hour and hundreds of respawns but i eventually got to thee top.

The visuals were really well-done too.

Was there meant to be any audio?

I gave it a rating. If you would like to check my game out too that would be great! :) Thanks

Thank you! I really enjoyed your game! I am sorry, there is no audio. I was learning the engine as I went and didn't have enough time to learn sound design! I hope that it didn't affect the other rating categories!

Hi Joshanson, no worries. Yeah it can be hard to do everything in time.  I didn't have any sound in my last game jam submission either.

Don't worry, I have rated it highly in all of the other categories :)
