Easily one of my favorite submissions this jam! Huge game! Fun gameplay and mechanics. Some things in the inventory systems or usefulness of certain items had me a little confused. I tried so hard to kill the Mysterious Galleon lol. Until I realized I could not avoid the plot. I lived streamed this cool pirate adventure if you want to see my reaction. Awesome submission!

This is such a complete game for having been made in one month by a solo developer! The tutorial was fantastic and I'm thoroughly impressed by the quality of the regular gameplay. This is definitely something to be proud of!

Really impressive scope for the time given.

Fun concept, and an ambitious scope for a game. It's impressive that you got so much done, even though as you said some things were left off due to the time. Please let me know about future updates!

I really liked the start of the game! Though I suck with the ship controls, I felt they were a bit janky at time. I thought the part where the big ship destroys you was a game over screen because of my terrible pirate ship driving skills XD it was really cool to see everyone rebuilding the ship!

I hope you polish this thing more, it already looks great and I'd love to see it with the full illustrations and everything you didn't have time for. I'd definitely play it!

I think the start of the game is great, short and well-explained tutorial that leads you right into action. I liked when the big ship destroys you and it's part of the story. Sadly, the game crashed after the crew rebuilt the ship :(

I’m aware of this bug :( It’s only an issue for the web build I believe (I think?)

If you play a desktop build this issue shouldn’t occur. (And then you get to actually play the game :p )

 Ty for the feedback!

This was sick, even while playing on the web build it looked really good. Sometimes the controls felt a little bit janky and the cannons wouldn’t fire even though it looked like they were loaded. It was really fun and if you do polish it some more I’ll definitely come back to play it again. Good job!

Developer

Thank you! Ty for ur feedback as well :)

I hope the tutorial is clear enough, I usually suck at making them :p

(P.S. The theme tie-in is the idea of the crew-size making u stronger, i.e. strength in numbers)
