The concept is cool, but that horizontal movement is so fast, makes it really hard to jump on the plataforms.

Wow, this is really hard and feels a little inconsistent, if I am being honest, where sometimes I think I know the direction and length I will go in but then I either barely jump at all or my trajectory changes in an instant in mid-air. Props for thinking outside the box in terms of implementing the theme but I think it needs a bit more polish to make it more enjoyable. Things I can think about is stuff like: slow down the rotation, remove the horizontal movement  buttons and only always use use the direction the arrows is pointing, make the minimum jump height be a specific value rather than how long I hold the jump button. Note I said "minimum" as allowing me to hold down the jump button for extra height is always appreciated :D

Developer

I was also planning to work further on this game, because I couldn't polish it in small amount of time.

Soon I will release the updated version with your recommendations.

Thanks for your Feedback.

I found it to be a little challenging as my instinct is to jump whenever I've reached the next platform, and even had a laugh when I shot myself off the platform when trying to reach the star. I agree with Sock Puppet Studios on the bug that allows you to jump while mid-air. I was able to reach the star on the "You Win" screen using it. Perhaps there should be a check to see if the ball is airborne when pushing the jump key? Other than that I enjoyed it. Good work!

Developer

I also tried to jump while mid-air, but I wasn't able to.

Ball falls back before arrow points upward.

This was a pretty good game. Good use of the theme. It would have been good to be able to change the window size though. I couldn't see the bottom of the level. But, great job!

Developer

Unfortunately pygame supports only fixed Window size.

By the way I didn't got your point about bottom of level.

Submitted

Oh it was just the bottom of the window was below my screen so I couldn't see it.

It was really easy to pick up what I’m supposed to be doing, which is something a lot of entries have struggled with. This reminds me a lot of Stick With It, and I think using some of that game’s ideas to spice up levels would’ve been cool. The physics are super wonky and there’s no cooldown for the jump, so I can press space infinity and eventually either clip out of bounds or beat the level. Really cool idea.

Developer

You surely can press space infinity times, but you won't be jumping every time. And yeah it is inspired by Stick With It.
