Plot twist! Not only can you starve you can also explode! lol Nice twist on the "eat -> become bigger" approach. :D

I made it around 77 sec. Really enjoyable game. Really addictive. The eating sound made me want to eat more of them instead of avoiding. you did amazing job.

Balancing your growth was not so easy, I guess I now understand why that's not easy to be on a diet in real life!

Really fun, though, I guess it is MUCH more difficult to survive once you are 80%+ of your max size?

Developer(+1)

From my own experience this is true, as soon as you get into a diet it feels like food is throwning itself at you :v

I guess the smaller you are the easier it is to survive, since you can manuever between the fishes and you're just more nimble.

my blob survived 76 seconds :)

great game, i liked the music and oberall soundeffects :)

Developer

Thank you! That score is quite impressive! I hardly got past 60 secs. It's shame I didn't manage to get online scores working.

Submitted

Simple and well done.

Developer

Thanks!

Cute game! It's amazing how many times I managed to starve to death just because I was desperate to not overeat xD

I wish there was an online score to compete with friends, would be great :)

Developer(+1)

Many thanks! Your initial feedback helped a lot. I was going to set up a online score thing, but the back-end I was going to use dropped their support for Godot or something, I just could find any documentation for how to implement it on the engine. I'm pretty sure they had support for it in the past though.

Great game, simple but elegant design, really enjoyed it! And it was awesome having you on stream yesterday! Here's the VOD if you want to check that out again: (yours starts at 1:13:52)

Developer(+1)

It is great you`re doing this stream. I think all devs enjoy watching someone play their games. This is awesome!

I love how the game starts off as you chasing fish around desperately and then quickly turns into your running from them for your life haha

Developer

Yeah! Thanks for playing, I`m glad people enjoyed this mechanic.

Pretty fun game. Interesting challenge or having to avoid fish the bigger you are. Great work! Keep it up!

Very cute! I love this kind of game, and I especially love that there's now an upper limit! Once you get big enough, it's suddenly all about dodging instead of seeking out food!

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

nice idea for game, once I was afraid of starvation, and then terrified of overgrowth

So, how does that happen? :D

Developer

No idea :s

What happened there?

Submitted

I have no idea either, some bug caused by my browser, fixable by switching the browser, just thought it's funny for the blob to be in a black water :D

Developer

Blob grown so much it took over everything.

Thanks for the feedback.
