never have i felt as meager as missing the first stroke and being taunted by a moving hole while accordion music plays
10/10
Wow! It's so a fun game. Procedural generation is the best.
nice game concept! good job :)
Well done! Super hard though :D
Very cool concept, I wish I was good enough at golf to fully appreciate it lol. I really like the Idea of purposefully going over the safety rails in order to skip parts of the level. There was a bug(?) where the level didn't have anywhere to expand to at some point tho, not sure if that was intended or not lol
18 strokes to pass the easy level... XD
Super unique concept!
This game is extremely polished and is very fun, power level is good and the course generation looks and feels great!
I wish the power level didn't start at 0, at first I thought the game was broken.
I also thought the ball direction indicator could be improved or extended a little bit, with only 90º camera angles it was hard to line up shots.
Overall and extremely good submission!
I think I only won because the game felt bad for me and made the course get stuck lol
Silly mini golf adventure of a game. I enjoy this a lot. I think it might be a little easier if the animating shot shadow increased and decreased in length according to the power of the stroke (so you have a better idea of how far it will go) and if the tunnel obstacles could have some transparency when the ball is underneath them! Sometimes it's a little hard to judge the angle needed to hit it through.
Great game, though!
this for me is a winner of the jam, i love the idea and the difficulty is just perfect!
Flood fill algorithm failed and I finally got the ball in the hole ahah. I have to say, this game really impressed me. I know how hard it is to implement AI Algorithms in gamejams (tried to do A* Pathfinding in a hexagonal grid ...). Yours worked pretty well and made the game so fun to play! It's also pretty rare to find 3d games in jams. You can be proud of what you made cause it's and awesome game 😄
*Small bug I found. When the game start, if I move the power slider and then hit the ball nothing happens, it's mandatory to use W and S first
This is a really fun spin on mini golf. Idk if it was a bug or what but one of my playthroughs of easy difficulty, the map didn't grow at all. Still took me 3 strokes though hahahaah
Fun game, I like how you can skip parts of the track when you are lucky.
Managed to beat hard with with 14 strokes, could have been better* if I didn't miss the skip
Woah! 14 might be the best score I've seen! Thanks for playing! :)
Cool and fun game 😀
Thank you for playing! :)
Very nice game. Great idea of the theme and very well implemented.
Thank you for playing! :)
Very fun concept!
Loved the polish in general :)
Thank you very much! :)
Really great work! It's a very unique interpretation of the theme and I was impressed by how the courses generate (especially with the associated SFX and camera animation). It was a bit challenging to see where the guideline was as well as how to line up with small holes, but I really enjoyed playing overall!
Thank you so much! I wasn't sure about the puff of smoke when I was first adding it in, but I'm really glad I did in the end! :)
This is a really cool take on both the theme and on minigolf, I'd actually like to play a full game around expanding/infinite minigolf courses now. I did find it a bit too easy to go over the hole/have the ball jump out sometimes, but I suspect it's more that I am just not used to the calibration of the power yet.
Thanks for playing! I spent a lot of time tweaking physics settings in the engine to make the game behave, and it ended up making the ball just a little bit too bouncy! I may go back in and fix that if I get the chance :)
Great idea! The moment the course got generated I thought "ok, that will be easy", but with each stroke I was further away from the goal. I didn't win but it was fun anyway.
Thanks for checking it out! :)
Cool concept and great use of the theme... Totally got my money's worth on this course!
Haha! Thank you! :)
Really cool concept! Luckily for me the path got trapped in a corner which made it easy to catch up.
I've got a flood fill algorithm checking if the path is going to hit a dead end, but it sell does anyway sometimes! Thanks for playing!
