Excellent implementation of the theme! I really suck at your game though but the mechanics was well implemented.  Made it to 220.

Developer

thanks for giving it a try!

This is a fun game. The game was nice to me with block placement once and I made it to 815.2m.

Developer

That’s a great score, thanks for playing!

Very nice game, but I probably should've read the rules and realized I had a double jump lol

stellar!

Really cool little arcade game, played it a number of times to try and get a higher score (600m!) and found it more fun each time. Great work!

Developer

that’s a great score! Thanks for playing.

Neat idea. I which the platforms where semi-solid though since they randomly and sometimes boxed me in or made it impossible to climb up because of they way they fell. However, had it been semi-solid and I could walk through the layer I was in to find a better way to jump from it would've solve this problem and you still have to avoid the bees, not fall down, and get squished so plenty of obstacles :D

block placement is definitely the area where I can improve the most. I actually originally had blocks that the player could jump through but it made the game too easy. I think the next option would to place the blocks deliberately so there is always a way up instead of randomly. Anyway thanks for playing and the great input!

"easy" is often better for jams since you are selling more of your idea/concept than how challening the game is. You can then take feedback and make the game more challenging  :) Still, I like where you are going with the game. Definitely can translate well into mobile

Saw your game on twitter many times and thought "This is gonna be fun" and it was! I had a lot of fun playing it, died many times only because of the way blocks were generated but that's what made the game fun! You can be proud of what you made 😄

Developer(+1)

thanks for giving it a try! Turns out dropping the blocks randomly isn’t the most fair way to do it lol. Something to think about after the jam.

Very addictive! I liked it very much even though it was simple! Congratulations!

Developer

thanks!

Simple but cool. Great job!

as someone else also said, the jump height sometimes stoped me from acheiving a better score, or even starting the game. Nice idea tho, and cool use of the assets!

Developer

thanks for giving it a try! Did you know about the double jump when you played? If not I’ll adjust the jump height after the rating period.

Submitted(+1)

oh!, I had no idea, I am gonna give it a second try right now

Developer

Thanks for giving it another try!

Quite a fun, short arcade-style game. Feels a bit unfair at times though, the jump height feels a bit too low.

Oh no I didn't, should've read further down the page! Perhaps some sort of indicator for whether you do/don't have a double jump left could help?
