Very nice, I like the movement and it fits the them really well! Only thing that would make it better is a bit of sound and music, but really well done either way! Keep up the good work!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I've heard the comments about audio but I ran out of time. Maybe that is a lesson for next time, to start with background music so at least that is in place. But it is so annoying to hear the same music over and over while developing 🙉.

Very cool game! I think you can improve the mouse controls and fp camera, it made me kinda dizzy. Other than that, it's a nice game! Thank you for the game!!

Developer

Interesting. I used Unity default first person controller. Could you please explain what you felt was wrong with the camera so I can improve it for when I use it the next time?

I think you can add a sensitivity slider, it's just my personal preference for lower sensitivity. The position of the fp camera and the fov feels kinda off I think. Maybe it is too close to the "face" of the player controller?

Like the idea of cave Exploration. A bit quiet though :)

Was a bit reluctant if I should talk to an Orc :)

Developer

Yeah, some music and footsteps would have been nice but I ran out of time. The Orc is nice and there aren't that many characters too choose from 😁.

Really nice use of assets for your cave design.

Wasn't sure if the ending text was to be taken as literally as I interpreted it, but I liked it :)

Well done on the submission!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! There is no hidden meaning behind the ending, it's just a way to reflect success without writing "You won!" 😉.

This was a really nice idea. I think adding some audio would make a big difference since the visuals have a great atmosphere. Also maybe some small puzzles or something would lengthen it out a bit. Well done!

Thanks for the feedback. This is just a proof of concept or maybe even a small doodle. I learned an important lesson in that building out an environment completely out of cubes takes a long time. I wanted to make more puzzles for the adventurer to find but ran out of time.

Nice, was fun - some sound would have really improved it ⚡

Developer

You are right. I listened to music while making the game so I think I forgot it and also ran out of time.

A nice little proof of concept!  I had some troubles getting the camera to cooperate when I started playing but didn't run into any issues beyond that.  I would've liked to have had a coin counter and a key icon to help track what things I had collected so far because I lost count of how many coins I had!  Maybe some spooky background music or cave sounds would've helped set the atmosphere as well.  Lots of things you could add next :)

Developer

Thanks. Could you explain the problem with the camera? Maybe the mouse wasn't captured in the web player? Yes, I should have added a UI for the items but ran out of time.

Really nice! The only thing i would have liked was a coin counter. Other than that, Great game!

Developer

Yeah, that is something I considered but ran out of time. Modeling the environment by just reshaping the cube from the Mini Dungeon pack took so long.

Nice work! Very quick to complete, but entirely functional. Goes to show how well the Kenney assets work even when super low poly and in first person :)

Developer

Thanks, yeah, game is short on purpose so people are able to finish in a reasonable amount of time for the jam.

Nice cute little game!

Developer

Thank you! I tried to make the game short so people would have a chance to complete it during the jam.
