How does your game incorporate the theme?
The crewmembers are connected through their friendships which they cultivate throughout the game! From a game-mechanics standpoint one such connection/friendship could be "Whenever A attacks, B jumps". Of course there are many such connections so things can spiral out of control!

My son and I played through a lot of the games. We both enjoyed your entry. I love the creative use of assets. Its something I would have never considered.

thanks a lot :)

I think this idea and the system are fantastic and well done. Could use some stat tweaking for damage to make the game more beatable and not take so long, but for a weekend jam I think this is one of the best entries and probably my fave use of the theme.

Thank you for playing and for the nice feedback! I agree the balancing needs some work. Healing and charging up uttacks are quite overpowered if you can do it reliably.
I initially wanted the characters to deal more damage the higher in the air they are, making jumping more impactful and increasing damage overall. Somehow forgot about that. (The monster has a slight weakspot around the face though, so it's still worth to jump up there)

Quite fun!  I really like the creative use of the assets, the monster looks amazing

very interesting game design going on here, unfortunately i am terrible at keeping them alive, so they’re all dead halfway through…
