so there was a huge over sight the tutorial links you to the level that's broken and we used to code the game at first sorry about that the main bugs that were commented here were about that level sorry
Idea of the crafting your own magic is very good, I like it. The mobs are WAY too fast and sometimes stick to me. I think in the training area you need to state that holding right click then left clicking is how to fire the spell because I had no idea my first run until I started clicking all the buttons. There are a lot of ui problems like "press e to read scroll" and some of the mobs move even faster when they get closer to you so there might be some code problem that is allowing them to move way faster then the player. The audio for when the player gets hit was also really loud. I did like the idea you guys were going for though.
sorry about the ui we realized after submission that the level that gets linked was the wrong level the press e to use scroll was removed from all other levels our bad
Thats fine! I imagined it was an accident! Still enjoyed the game!
Looks like you've got some troubles with your UI and some others bugs, but anyway the fights are quite fun to do. A special mention to the enemy smash which sounded like they were slapping my face, this is fantastic XD.
I ran into a bug on the first enemy, once it hit me a few times, I couldn't get away from it, and because I couldn't get range I couldn't kill it. Liked the art and everything though.
Sorry that happen every once and a while but we did not have time to change it
a great idea, for me it was unfortunatley a bit buggy, im guessing we've had similar issues on that end.
i liked the sprites and artstyle, yet i would have liked it even more if the movement matched the visuals, i was expecting a stepwise bit-animation, and the floaty movement felt a bit out of place with the visuals,
the sounds had a nice oumph to them, without beeing to deep, the enviroment was a bit bland, as the stonewalls and the stone-floor was difficult to tell apart, however the overall aesthetic was pleasing,
the gameplay was hectic, i had seconds from the enemies reached me and until i had crafted the correct spell, it felt really tense,
a great submission!
intuitive idea and gameplay, and I don't have to reach my hand across the keyboard which is always nice
