Awesome! Thank you for including my game!
First and only entry in stealth genre I've seen this jam. It's very basic, but well executed, so I had some fun. Having no checkpoints was tough though, made me unable to complete it in a couple of tries I gave it.
There were definitely plans for a teleporting mechanic, just ran short on time :|
Thank you for playing though!
Very stylish color scheme. I liked the action-stealth aspect to the game and it even had a story. Unlocking the computers granting me more visibility of the maze was a nice touch. I wish I would have had more than just one try before dying, but that's my only criticism. All in all very good entry to the jam, thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Had I more time to test the game I probably would have given the player at least 3 chances per play.
I appreciate you taking the time to play my game though!
The intro cutscene was good and the stealth gameplay was fun. I liked the atmosphere and purple neon monochrome styling.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the game :) Making the color palette is always one of my favorite parts of designing a game so, I'm happy that it was noticed.
I enjoy stealth games of any kind. I really enjoyed some of the powerups/pickups and it kept me going through out. Great intro scene, great color choices and good design.
However, the only feedback I have to give you: the map is too large. There needs to be something to make it easier after you die like checkpoint rooms or something (maybe I missed it?). But enjoyed my time with this regardless, it was challenging and met the theme.
I had planned on making it easier to traverse the maze (with a teleporting mechanic), but wasn't able to finish that feature due to the time constraints. I agree that it does feel a bit cumbersome to have to travel across any area that has already been covered, but considering this was my first jam I'm just happy that I finished!
Thank you for playing my game, and for the feedback!
Nice submission! I think that the intro sequence was a nice touch - I always enjoy albeit small but some kind of storytelling behind jam games - it makes you invest more time in the game I think. The art style, music, and sounds were very consistent with each other, and keeping a purple-ish color palette really sold it.
If I had to give some feedback I think that when you have such a large map and you make one start over on 1 hit, I think you should include some sort of teleport/portals on the map in order to skip the large travel between sections - otherwise, I think it can be hard to stick to it when you have died a couple of times.
If you have the time, please consider rating our submission as well - thanks!
Lawn & Order
Thank you! Believe it or not, I had planned on making a teleporting mechanic that takes you back to the previous MegaServer (which would put the player close by the next area), but it was such a busy week, and I ran out of time so instead I cut 2 areas out of the game and made buffs that increase walking speed and zoom the camera out.
Once the judging is over, I definitely plan on fixing it up a bit, since it's the first game I've uploaded to itch.
Anyways, thanks again for playing and for the feedback, I will rate your submission once I finish my HW for the day!
Great submission, loved the art style and use of lighting and sounds to create ambience and a dark/cyberpunk feeling. well done
Definitely what I was going for! Thank you for playing!
Good effort. The ambiance and music worked nicely with the theme. Good use of lighting and colours. Nice intro sequence, although it was a lot to read at the start
Ya it's pretty rough, I definitely ran out of time.
Thanks for playing though! I appreciate the feedback
