Awesome design but my skills are too low to properly play this game. Great job!

After I lost with a terrible three points I just had fun watching the cursor bounce a little. Fun cliker.

Nice little highscore game. For a simple clicker game, it’s very satisfying. I liked the art and audio the shader fits it well. I found that I could abuse the game a bit simply by spamming Z, as there is no punishment for doing so :) Additionally, I would have liked to see a bit more visual indication that a window is going to time out soon (would be funny if it went non-responding the last half-second, but I don’t know if that would be good design). I would have also liked to see a bit more punch to losing a heart, like screenshake. Excellent entry!

Simple, but well executed game.

The controls are hard, but pleasant to master. Excellent music and SFX.

The only problem is that I think the collision check when press Z should be more forgiveness and not left that feeling of "Hey, I pressed the button!! Why it not worked??"

Overall a nice little game.

Had a hard time steering but very fun design and gameplay. Loved the graphics, and yeah, we had similar ideas!

presentation is top notch , also got around 20 points, boucing on walls is pretty hard but its really cool a good strategy is to  just press Z and up arrows as fast as you can so you wont miss the button but it feels like cheating so my score is probably not valid lol

I really liked the controls, they reminded me a little bit of Luftrausers! Maybe the bouncing mechanic is a slightly too punitive for me? My highest score is 10, and some people are saying they did 20+ ??

Nothing to complain about here, a simple but insanely challenging game executed perfectly. Graphics are nice, sound effects are satisfying and the music is pleasant.  Well done!

Nice game! The difficulty rises a bit too fast when you hit the 20 windows clicked, but I managed to hit the 30. I like that you give the cursor a bit of a curve as it rotates, and the trail is nice as well. Smart use of the blue title bar, to use as a timer.

Developer

Nice!! 30 is pretty good! It definitely needs some more tuning on difficulty. Thanks for the feedback (and also thank you for the amazing tutorials that helped me get started with game dev several years ago).

Graphics, sounds, and overall mood get top marks from me. I loved the bounce mechanic and how it could be utilized to score points more reliably than just turning to the nearest button. I will say, however, that the focal point from which the cursor can rotate could use some work. I also found the way that the walls redirected the way the cursor is facing to be rather frustrating. Nevertheless, I think you did a great job for this game jam.

Developer

Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback. I tried to strike a balance between controllable and drifty, but it definitely needs more tuning and play testing. I guess I got too much practice while developing!

Regarding rotation, are you saying when the player presses left/right the sprite should rotate about its center? Right now it rotates around the tip of the cursor, but I'd be interested in trying your suggestion and seeing how it plays.

Correct, while the tip of the cursor does feel intuitive, I do not believe it is the best choice considering the fact that it ends up shifting the body towards the direction of the rotation alongside the change in the direction of propulsion.  Should you decide to edit your work, I wish you the best of luck.

The controls are so finicky but still a cool game

cool but the controls feel super finicky; hitting a wall means basically instantly losing any control, yet acceleration is so slow you’ll never get the opportunity to turn around and get something if it just appeared behind you. still fun tho

I had fun with this, even though  I found it pretty hard. And the graphics look great!
