Very challenging but it plays very well. The only problem is if you press any buttons as you die the game auto-restarts and you can bypass the score screen.

Nice entry! Quite challenging.

The amount of blood spilled when the samurai kills you is perfect, Tarantino would be proud!

Cool game!! Love the art, pretty fun endless runner gameplay.

The html5 version seemed to freeze immediately any time I died, but the Windows version worked great.

Love the gore animation :)

Solid game, very difficult and with some really lovely pixel art / animations / gore! Works really well with the limitations.

Very nice graphics and animations!

Had fun playing this. Gameplay is simple and to the point. The visuals are very appetizing.

As others have said, audio would've been nice. Hope you'll add that in later on!

Those are some juicy death animations.

This is a solid infinite runner. The animations are beautiful, and everything is easy to parse in an instant. The interactions make sense, all in all, it feels like this is doing everything it sets out to very well.

This must be the bloodiest game on this jam. It's a nice game, but sometimes it's hard to jump over the spikes, is it a bug, or am I supposed to jump earlier?

PS: If you have the time, please try out my entry https://itch.io/jam/lowrezjam-2018/rate/293637 (don't forget to rate it : ) )

Cheers

Love the art and animations, but seems like the mouse input doesn't work half the time? Is there a threshold on how fast or when you can click?

I had this problem too, but WASD work as an alternative. I don't think it's meant for mouse control.

SOOOPER joocy animations

Echoing other comments, I wish this had sound. Incredibly fun little game once you've got to grips with how each obstacle is dealt with, presented gorgeously, and doesn't feel limited at all by the 64x64 resolution. Wonderful.

A little Too hardcore in the beginning, but is very well made!
