Cool idea and graphics are impressive and clean for all the information displayed. Nice job!

That was a good idea and a lot of fun to play with! :-D

Good job!

When I seen this one, it really excited me. The game play is very unique and the concept is one that I haven't seen done before. Though I wish there was a way to “raise” money if you accidentally run out.

This is by far my favorite game from the jam.

Really awesome and addictive gameplay! Everything was spot-on in regards to polish, too. Just, make sure to fix the Browser/Web version so that the round timer starts. Otherwise, amazing!

Thanks!
Quite a few people reported that bug with the Web version.  It was an itch.io-specific bug where the game didn't initialize the game's save data properly the very first time the game was run. It could be circumvented by simply reloading the page, but I patched it so that it shouldn't happen now.

Cool idea. I was really into it but got stuck in round 1 for some reason, couldn't move forward to next round :/

Thanks for playing!
Someone else also reported that bug.  It was an itch.io-specific bug where the game didn't initialize the game's save data properly the very first time the game was run. It could be circumvented by simply reloading the page, but I patched it so that it shouldn't happen now.

Nice idea for a low res game! At first I thought it was just a colour by numbers game, which would have been fine, but it's so much better than that with the element of funds. It took me a while to navigate and find out what to do when, but I got there. Well done.

What an intriguing idea! I'm glad the tutorial was below the game or I'd have had no idea what I was doing, but this is pretty interesting. I don't think I quite get the idea of price fluctuations, though; if I go away to make a cup of tea, do the prices change? Or do they only alter when I do things, like a stock market version of Superhot? Nonetheless, this is fascinating, and quite different from most other games; bonus points for idea creation here, and the pixel art editor is well-done and easy to understand.

What a strange, unique and intriguing idea! Beautifully presented, controls well, and fun to get into (although quite a niche audience would appreciate it I imagine).

I think it could do with a couple of things - clarity in what the buttons do (eg having a tooltip pop up) and an in-game version of the tutorial GIFs you provided would be great - perhaps even a simple walkthrough with your first restoration. Understandable that neither of these were possible either due to the resolution or the time constraints - the game is very deep so I imagine it took a lot of dev time already - but would be nifty additions to an updated version.

But they are minor problems on a stellar Jam entry. Unlike anything I've ever played, and excellently made. A lot of fun too. Superb job!

I just played 5 minutes and I loved the concept.

Just a suggestion: maybe in the future you could re-arrange your action buttons because it looked pretty weird to me that the first button you need to click is at the end of the list. If you don't want to change their order, maybe you could introduce them one by one, explaining what each of one does?

Anyway, great job! I would never have thought this concept!

That's original! I didn't get how to sell my first restoration :(

Developer

Sorry that it wasn't clear how to sell pixel art. It was a challenge trying to cram all that information into such a small space.
There's a button on the Main screen that allows you to sell completed restorations, as shown below:

Very nice idea ! It fits to the jam pretty well !
The price of a pixel when we have so few.
I did 26 benefits on my first job, I bough some pixels for nothing x)

this is a fabulous concept! buying colours by the pixel on a fluctuating market is truly inspired design :D

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.
