Nice and simple RPG. Makes fun to explore the map, had some collision problems tho. The graphics works pretty well for low resolution!
Thank you! Yes there are 😂 I'm hoping to fix them up post-jam
Really good ARPG, hell didn't even expect a game with RPG elements in the first place (if very basic ones), but the idea is cool as are the visuals in particular! The music could get a little work though, as well the gameplay mechanics, but good work there
Thank you! I've learnt a lot this jam, especially how I allocate my time. This is super useful, thank you :)
excellent simple RPG. well laid out victory condition and map layout to get to each of the four stones, would have liked to see a larger map so it took more exploring to get to each of the stones. combat could have been better, and once you had gained any ammount of levels the enemies were basically harmless very nice looking graphics for 64x64 pixels... good job
I assisted on a game for this jam. would love to hear your ideas on our game :)

Thank you for your feedback :) I'm definitely going to be refining the levels system post-jam, it's great to get comments about this. I'll be sure to check out your game :)
Pretty good graphics, animations and map layout. There's a bit of jankiness on the player's movement along collision and on the combat, I would work on polishing that.
I'll work on that, thank you so much for pointing it out :)
Could use some knock-back/invincibility frames. Those bats and black ghosts can drain your hp very quick if they touch you.

Yes, absolutely :) I tried to put in invincibility frames but it didn't really work 😂 I'll put them in properly next time
It may just be a coincidence but I completed the game with 1 HP to spare... now if that isn't beautiful balancing I don't know what is.
It's a solid game, easy controls and familiar concepts meant I could jump straight in and start playing. Would be great to add in bonus items to find, but then that would mean changing that balance...
Solid entry, very well done.
Thank you :) Your feedback is super helpful, I think sprinkling in some secrets and character would've been nice, I'm going to do it in the next game
A very cool Game. Some collision problems but the sprites and theirs animations are pretty sweet !
Thank you! I'll look into the collision problems for my post-jam version :)
Nice art and cool music! It's simple and fun to play and the level up sistem is well balanced!
Thank you! :)
Very nice Art work, very cool music, and very nice gameplay. The monster animation is just perfect.
Thank you! :)
Wow! Love the artwork, fun to play, wonderful overall. I just wish there was more to explore!
Thank you so much! :) I'll take note of that, and even if I don't end up adding more to explore I will in the next one :)
Very well done basis for what could become a great RPG :-)
I got a bit surprised by finding monsters in the village at the beginning, but I leveled up fast enough to save the town!
Thank you! :)
Pretty good for a first unity game! Simple and straight-forward! Really nice detail in the world too!
I'll echo that last comment about the level progression and i found the music a tad repetitive (though it definitely fit the feel for the game!). Overall, really well done! :D
Thank you!
I'm really impressed someone could put out a game of this quality while learning a new game engine. It looks great! The level curve could use some tweaking, as I think I leveled up to the max level within half a minute or so, which left me without a way (that I noticed) to heal as the more aggressive enemies whittled down my health. It also left me pretty over-powered against all but the dark enemy with the one eye. All in all, I had fun playing it.
Thank you for your comment on the level curve, it's super helpful :) I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
It's clean, handles well, the story is outlined distinctly. I really enjoyed it. I especially like the differences in tactics of the enemies. Also, the fact your health regenerates with each new level makes it easier to learn to play without dying. The art style works very well, you can tell what everything is immediately and houses etc. have the right amount of detailing.
I would have loved it if the tree hitboxes weren't so large though. It feels a little restrictive and I really was looking forward to walking into the forest to see what I could find.
Thank you so much! That's a good point, in future games I want to make it so the player can go exploring and find hidden places and characters.
