Fun little game! I included it in my LOWREZJAM compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Very cute idea there! I liked that the walls made little ping noises when you bumped into them. Small touches like that really add some character to the world. The last part took me a little while to get through, I got run over by the worms quite a lot :D But I made it! Good job :)

Very creative use of collection. I got such satisfaction out of just seeing the gold bar grow. Awesome job!

Gameplay is really smooth, and movements are satisfying. The last level looks a little hard at first, but you get used to the patterns of the monsters pretty quick. This is a good game for a jam. You can add more enemies and more levels after the jam. I am looking forward to your update.

very niice art, the random it unfaire, but very nice gameplay. Very cool game.

Cool style and mechanics! I agree with the other comments that the RNG can feel a bit unfair, but I get the reality of trying to properly balance a jam game and I thoroughly enjoyed your game nonetheless.

Very solid base for a fun game, but the difficulty curve was a bit steep. :-)

Really enjoyed the first set of levels.
Muddled through the second set.
Rage quit the third set...

The random skull movement spoils it a bit, I think.. if they had defined paths, or even just bobbed about in a circle, it'd feel a lot more fair, and still be quite challenging.

I definitely loved it during the first set though - they felt perfectly balanced.

Thoughts from playing:

  • The simple art style is very effective.
  • Cute character designs.
  • Game was easy to learn, though it did take me a second to realize I needed to bring the coins back to the start.
  • Some parts felt very RNG heavy and unfair, especially on the higher difficulties. The skulls will often crowd around places the player needs to go and since they appear to move around randomly getting past them mostly comes down to luck.
