Did you work in a team?
Just me.
Was the resolution a challenge?
Yes, resolution was definitely a challenge. I wanted to maintain the fixed screen / no scrolling feel from the original Paganitzu, which meant 4x4 tiles and sprites. It was both difficult and fun to experiment with creating 4x4 sprites that resembled anything.
What did you learn?
This jam was a fun opportunity to learn more about vanilla JS and canvas, without additional libraries.

This is a fun puzzle game, well executed and it looks great. Nicely done!
On a side note - It looks like Firefox does not set the linear interpolation correctly, so the canvas is aliased and blurry.
Nice game! Had fun playing it. I like the glitter effect on the items and it had a nice overall look too. I think some music would be great.

Very nice work. I had an issue running it on Firefox where it looks very blurry, but on Chrome it looks fine.
Pretty challenging game! The exploding spiders kind of reminded me of Boulder Dash from the olden times.
What a great puzzler! Quick Clean Game!
I don't know how you pulled off such excellent spritework at 4x4. Great work!
This was a lot of fun, and I really liked the graphics! Great work!
I loved Chagunitzu and Paganitzu back in the day. Played them on my cousin's 286. This is a flawless "demake" of Paganitzu. Good job! I'm actually really impressed how well you've made it work in so small resolution. It really is 100% flawless rendition of the original.
Thank you for your kind words! You are exactly the audience I was hoping for ❤
Greta little puzzle game! I like the logic of it.
