Appreciate you playing!

I think I should have spent a bit more time tuning the game to work at various frame rates.

Sounds like a few folks ran into some issues.

As with every game jam, lessons for next time :D

I really like the animations on the mole character!

Yeah you are correct that levels don’t affect gameplay. Rewarding new palettes is exactly what I hoped to do but ran out of time.

Thanks for playing!!

I’m curious to know more about how the terrain visuals were created, they look really unique and cool. Love the color palette and overall aesthetic on this.

The particle effects are so satisfying too.

Nice work!.

Really neat idea, I’ve played a lot of entries tonight and this might be my favourite. Kind of reminded me of lemmings in an adjacent kind of way. Really fun.

As someone who’s experimented with custom engines, I’d love to read/learn more about your custom Pebble engine if you’ve posted about that anywhere.

Really nice work!

Easy to understand, fun to play, the fact you even have the copy paste mechanic of a daily game (and within PICO-8 none-the-less) is such a nice bit of polish.

Really cool entry. Awesome work.

Cute character, every time I turned sideways I got a little giggle out of the big nose lol.

The colours and overall art felt nice.

Gameplay could have been a little bit more engaging, but overall not a bad entry at all.

Nice work.

Very cute art, love the colour palette too! The solid background lends itself to not feeling like it’s low rez.

Tiny point of polish I really liked is the trajectory arc of the balls, feels really natural.

Nice work!

Cool idea and the dr sprites are cute, nice work!

Really dig the overall vibe and aesthetic, the teeth ammo icon is so perfectly nasty lol.

I’ve mentioned this on some other entries, but I love the games that have me forgetting it’s 64x64 pixels, and this is one of them.

The animations and branding all feel nice too. Really solid job.

Very cute character, fun backgrounds, and honestly the collision physics on the bubbles feels surprisingly nice. Awesome work!

I think my favourite part of this one is that the little slime enemy is reminiscent of the Godot logo while also being incredibly creepy lol. The way the enemy face kind of blurs and randomizes works surprisingly well.

Always hard to find time focusing in on the right things in a game jam, keep it up. <3

Love a good PICO-8 game, the character animation was so cute, the controls felt nice, and exploring felt fun. As someone who recently became a dad the vibe warmed my heart.

I love the lowrezjam games that make me forget that 64x64 is a constraint. Really enjoyed this one overall. Good job!

The lighting in this and the modelling really sells the visuals, it feels more like I’m playing a retro game than a 64x64 game. Nice, nice work!

I couldn’t quite get a hang of the controls, but that might be on me. The visuals look soooooo clean and cute. Love the look of it all. Great vibe, nice work!

Edit: I practiced a bit more and got a bit further, nice little game!

Nice and simple with some clean visuals, easy to understand and addicting trying to go quick and get a high score. Nice work!

Very cute looking characters and overall the aesthetic was really clean and polished. Nice work.

This was an interesting idea, and the characters were super cute! Plus one for the cover art!

I like the paper/doodle aesthetic, the dragging of the sticky notes in particular felt nice. The doodles work well at this resolution too. Nice work!

Very unique idea and I quite like the overall aesthetic!

Snappy controls, doesn’t feel slow, beautiful graphics and a cute character. Can’t ask for much more, really don’t have much in the way of criticisms. Great work!

One of the weirdest golf games I’ve played, I like it lol. I’ve made two golf games in previous lowrezjams and have never thought of taking it this direction. Nice work!

Lots of stuff packed in here for such a game jam, the glider, the knock back and especially drifting and seeing the side of the station wagon had me giggling. Reminds me of Simpsons for sure. Nice job!

Neat game, the visual style was neat. Honestly my favourite part is your cloud sprites, they were very pretty! Nice work.

This was nice, the levels were fun and I like the overall vibe. Good work!

The way the palette should work is that the shadows/score/particles are one color, the background is another, enemies are a third, and the player and gems are a 4th.

But the colors I chose for the shadows and the enemies might be lacking contrast making them hard to see.

One thing I wish I had spent more time on was making things less visually noisy while still keeping the chaotic feel.

Appreciate the feedback for sure :D

Thanks for giving it a try! The black portion of the gates right at the edges should kill you and so you have to go through the white portion.

I tried to make it so that it leans towards not killing you to benefit the player, but that might be making things confusing.

I probably could have tried to make that more obvious, but appreciate the feedback!

I’m normally not the biggest fan of the 3D games in LOWREZJAM, but this one works really well actually. The environments look really clean and the dust trail works well at this resolution. Nice work!

This is a neat idea and I really like how the shadow sells the depth effect. Nice work!

I really like the visuals on this one the characters are fun. The way it transitions from the main menu into the gameplay is a really nice bit of polish!

The graphics are really nice, such a cute character. The controls feel nice and smooth too. Nice work!

The visuals on this are so clean, I absolutely love the chromatic aberration effect and the fact that it stays within the pixel grid. The audio and sfx are nice as well. Nice job!

Awesome, feels great! I love the ghost sprites, so cute!

Oh wow is this good. Really like the graphics and the audio, it feels so nice and juicy. Doesn’t even feel constrained by the resolution. Really nice work!

Cute little game especially for PICO-8, the zoom out function was nice. Fun gameplay and I liked the music. Nice work!

Cute little game! I like the aesthetic and colors.

This was really fun and the web mechanic felt really nice. Love the music as well.

Great work!

I liked the overall aesthetic and the sfx were a nice juicy touch!

I think the low resolution really added to the way the rings fade in. My only wish is that the difficulty got a little bit harder over time.

(fwiw this worked on my Macbook Air in Safari)

I really like the minimal pixel art style and color palette!
