Did you work in a team?
Nope, worked alone

Was the resolution a challenge?
The biggest problem was getting text that is readable, also for a 3D game like this the resolution makes it hard to read depth.

What did you learn?
tldr i used the jam to try out C#

Very cool! I loved how fluid it feels. Perhaps as a testament to how well you used the low resolution, the game is actually much more readable when I decrease the screen size a lot. Loved that my ride sounded like a fat synth.

I think the screen could be made less busy by only showing times when going thru a check point, and perhaps losing the minimap in favor of rally-style indications of upcoming corners. Also the ship could have a better contrast with the track, the colors are very similar. I also messed with the strafing a little and managed to somehow "off-center" my driving permanently, which I'm not sure was intentional.

Amazing entry, very interesting.

Nice start on racing… works as a prototype but visually it is too busy… readability on the UI numbers, the blurry map and on the track itself is quite low. Probably a good start to move into a higher resolution.

Fun game, reminded me of F-Zero. The arrows did a good job of telegraphing which direction I was going to turn in. Minor thing: I'd suggest you pad out the speed and times so they always have the same amount of numbers after the decimal. It can be distracting when it jumps from 24.20 to 24.201 and back.

The idea is super cool, but somehow I’m always getting stuck in the wall on the second turn…

Really cool game, but I think it needs a few more pixels to be properly playable. I can't tell what is going on.

this game does not seem to work right for me (linux/firefox)

You did a good job with making the track readable, the big red arrows were a good choice. The vehicle itself spazzes out a bit when it moves, which makes things more difficult.

I am having a problem as if acceleration is always pulling me lefy instead of pushing forward.
