What a lovely game. It takes a little of Overcooked and Burgertime and makes for a fun and frantic sort of arcade diner game. At first, the controls are a bit much, but they become easier as you play, and you're constantly adding in new features to the kitchen. It's a lot of fun. I accidentally dropped dirty dishes on customers and served many a floor burger, I'm not cut out for this kind of life.
Absolutely golden satire, right through to the end. I loved your writing! The gameplay is like the Overcooked formula, but it made me more stressed and made me angrier against our capitalist overlords for imposing such conditions on us. I will admit that halfway through the story, I had enough of trying to stay on top of orders and went on a full murder spree to the end. Salads just crossed a line for me.
This game was a blast to play nice job on the development of it.
Things sure get hectic quickly. I love the way you've fit the shop into a sideview screen; the idea of frantically climbing up and down ladders to cut a single slice of cheese for the burger you're serving is innately hilarious. Despite the frantic nature the movement seemed a little too quick, making it difficult to get TO the ladders and materials. Would love to see a post-jam revision, perhaps.
Really cute game with great visuals, sounds, and love the notes to give you directions. Controlling the knife and the cheese cutting was difficult to manage so I didn't get very far. Will return when I have more time and patience ;)
Really cute little overcooked style game! I didnt get a chance to play co-op but i bet it'd be super fun!
Charming game. Someone pointed out that you can use the knife on the customers, and... oh boy.
The controls were a bit hard though. At least for me. Movement felt slippery and I was having a hard time positioning myself. I wasn't really able to get really far cuz I was having such a hard time with the controls.
Wonderful game, brings me vibes from a gameplay akin to classics like Night Shift where things just keep going on and you need to keep your wits and pace with the events. Music works wonderfully and has a relaxing mood that goes very well with the frantic gameplay! Amazing that with just a couple of pixels you transmit so much Story mode is great!
