Did you work in a team?
Two developers, both sharing responsibility equally, and trying to have fun with it.

Was the resolution a challenge?
The bigger your character is, the less room thats left for other objects. Went with using solid blocks of colour, to prevent the need for too much detail, and over emphasize what objects are, via the dialog when interacting.

What did you learn?
Planned to do this Jam previous years, but time wasn't on our side. Got to learn a new API in Phaser, which I would use again in future. It was interesting seeing how much text can fit in such a constrained area, and how the approach for simplifying the UI, drew parallels to wireframing. I believe this will help in future development, in that minimalistic ui is fine as a starting point, even for big projects, where it can be easy to spent time getting on sprite to look good, at the cost of functionality.

Nice little experience, although now I have the infernal MIDI-violin loop stuck in my head forever!

I found it strangely funny how every text-output ended with an exclamation mark(!) It felt like it was presented by a silly and manic narrator.

Appreciate that one could actually interact basically every part in the room. I think what took me the longest was finding the stone since it was barely visible. I wish I could’ve get to use the computer!

My older Lowrez-game from two years ago featured a white dot venturing a similar minimalist top-down interior. That was probably the reason why your game caught my attention.

Keep on jamming, folks!

Thanks for playing!

The house in your old game does feel similar, and got come good mechanic ideas I could see working with mine, if i revisited it, such as toggling lights in each room.
Thanks for the inspiration!

I escaped in 171s \o/ cute escape room game! Enjoyed playing, it was very funny :) the bgm is great but a bit short to loop, thats my only minor suggestion. Great submission! :)

Nice. I like the minimalism of it - an innovative solution for a game with so few pixels available. I feel like some intrigue could have been established at the beginning to keep players more invested in solving the puzzle.

I found it interesting that the extreme abstractness of the map pushes you to go explore every nook and cranny! However, that same abstractness also kind of made me lose sight of what I could do with the objects I had collected. I did manage to get to the end though!

Interesting concept! I think it could of been nice to have a bit more logic on the next thing to press, as I kind of just felt like I was clicking on everything hoping for the game to progress.

Hey, this is a fun little game. The music is grinding, and to be honest, there's no real clue as to what should go where. But I still found myself roaming from point to point until it was complete.

Nice job!
