Loved the music for this game. I love how the bassline comes in once the boss first spawns, so sick.

Great work, the palette and the art all works really well together. The boss felt tough but not insurmountable (I managed to win with just 1 hp remaining). The enemy spawns felt fair but frequent enough to put me on edge when the boss would return. Really nice job!

Beautiful palette, challenging but fun gameplay, funky beat, perfect for the atari era :)

Glad you found it cool. Thanks for playing our game.

Only complaint is that the game used 1 color pallete and it got repetetive.

Valuable feedback, Thanks for trying our game.

I liked the rotating mechanic a lot! The boss was very difficult for me, it was quite close to the player so it was hard to deal with its attacks. I had fun, great arcade entry :)

Developer

Thanks for trying, The feedback on difficulty I've received on this game so far is either too easy or too hard.

Cool idea on gameplay. Graphic is minimalistic but this is good

Interesting premise for a game. I like the backstory. The gameplay was simple and easy to understand, but the boss was really hard. So there's no forgiveness for noobs like me. Great job!

It felt like an old old arcade, with fixed angles to fire, etc, but maybe would've been more interesting if I could fire in any direction and have limited fire rate or something, I was like firing all the time I could since my bullets were hitting the enemies once they appeared. I liked the game though.

I need to learn to balance the game difficulty. Thanks for trying our game.

Very well-made and very much in the spirit of arcades! Everything meshes well together, from the title to the boss. It's nice how the battle feels space-y and like an actual planet defense, and the feeling is further improved by the sound effects.

I would only suggest to add the setting's description or some related art at the beginning.

Developer

Thanks for trying out game. Will try to incorporate cut scenes, backstory splash screen art in future jams.

I like the 2-bit style. Mechanics are simple yet fighting with boss and minions at the same time feels engaging and fun.

Very cool, the boss was an awesome idea. A little difficult for me, but the music and style is beautiful. Nice job!

This was really well made.

Great idea adding a Boss fight as well, diversified the gameplay!

I found it a bit on the easy side (which is a good thing for a game with an end haha!). It was a nice experience for a jam game.

Great job!

Thanks for trying our game. Maybe I should start implementing easy medium hard mode in future jams.

That would be awesome, however sometimes its just not possible due to time restrictions and extra testing etc. hehe

Reminds me of Cosmic Ark for the Atari! Love the palette too!
