Ah, match-2, the bane of my existence (because my kids love playing it, the one game where they can beat daddy). Very polished, with easily recognizable cards and funky music.

I was dreadful at this, brain stopped functioning. I think it's partly that it's quite fast. But also I struggled to associate the icons. However I know this is a me problem because I had this exact same issue with a memory game thing I was working on recently, my brain overflows at 3 things, haha.
I feel the same! Memory games were easier as a youngster!

I really like the idea of the game. My one struggle is that I was so focused on finding the matches that it was hard to look and follow the battle as well.

Memory, but there's combat. I like the art on the cards.
Would have liked a little shake or sound when you take damage. I kind of didn't notice and felt confused the first couple rounds I lost.

Wow, this was quite stressful! I would prefer some time to relax between the rounds. Maybe add a small sequence between the rounds where you display the round number.
Definitely a neat idea to use this classic game to “attack”.
