I love the destruction hehe

Never thought that using aliens to clean a city would feel that satisfying. The clones are a fun idea. Good job!

Good job.

The game has a perfectly fine loop backed up by solid mechanics. I think you just need a scoreboard. It was fun and the graphics are great. Controls are smooth. The presentation of everything is really solid. Great job!

Game is still fun even though you mentioned it just a toy, would be great to add some kind of lose condition/enemies in the future. Game is pretty easy to follow after reading through the instructions and pretty zen-like for destruction game.

Amazing sound effects and very interesting idea beautifully implemented.

I really like the CRT effect and the general aesthetic of this game. The shadow under the UFO was a nice touch to help orient myself in the 2.5d space. The sound effects gave me a good chuckle too.

The core loop of making clones and abducting felt good! I was surprised picking up debris didn’t hurt my ship (or at least I didn’t notice it hurting my ship), so I kind of just picked up people haphazardly.

Cool music too! Great work all-around. I know you mention on the page that this game feels more like a toy, but the goal of building enough energy to fire the big laser was enough for me to feel compelled to play a few rounds! There’s a lot to be proud of here.

Thank you so much for that feedback. I explored damaging the ship when picking debris but I felt like something was missing and didn't have time keep working that so I decided to remove that and focus on making the toy even more fun. Also the idea was exploding debris will kill people you were abducting but in the end you always abduct without problems so that didn't work as expected either xD.

Awesome game, really like this :)

Super fun game although it is endless with no goal

Extremely fun game! The concept is very simple, yet very very fun! Love the CRT effect and really appreciate the ability to disable it if desired.

I had a lot of fun with this, and the mechanics were cool, but all the while I was longing for some kind of end-goal (e.g., a timer with a highscore similar to old arcades).

P.S. If you are looking for ideas to improve the game further after the jam, I was expecting a couple of tanks to appear and start shooting at me - they can just damage the biomass and clones to not add another bar.

Developer

I'm  happy you enjoyed the game, I might add more stuff after the jam and tanks or similar were on the pool of ideas, thank you for playing and for the feedback!

I loved the screaming and other sound effects.  They really sold the fun Arcady feel of the game.
