Themes
Peaceful gave us the opportunity to think about the things that make us feel at peace (cats & coffee) and how those things could interact, accumulating in a game filled with joy and fun.

Tools
We used the Godot engine which took a little extra work to make everything pixel perfect even after lowering the resolution.

Lessons
Lots of Godot practice and pixel art.

This game was really adorable and fun to play! I did a few rounds on it and loved it. The only part I struggled with early on was telling the difference between the cookie and coffee, but the description fixed that. Nice sound track as well, very mellow coffee store vibes!

Loved the meow button and you all seemed to nail the cozy vibe. Cats and coffee is absolutely the kind of peace I could use lately. Oh and the title graphic is really nice too!

Wow, it's really cute. :D I loved intro cutscene and overall idea. The background art and sprites are confusing and it was hard to tell where the cats, but it's still very cool experience!

the idea of the game is very cool and the scenario with the intro cinematic are very successful... giving the cats what they ask for makes a good little arcade game. we have the impression but maybe I'm wrong that you had a hard time choosing between a game a little chill and cozy and an arcade game a little nervous. If this is the case of the arcade in my opinion it would be worth it to facilitate the visibility because even if the coffee is very successful we need to see what to do quickly and I also think that we should think about simplifying the controls with a button... but frankly here is a super original proposal, bravo

Graphics are good, tho the different types of coffee were a bit hard to differentiate, so I'm pretty sure I brewed the wrong ones multiple times :D

The music is really chill and the gameplay is simple but smooth.

Ah, I’m so envious of everyone here who figured out how to play! This looks so beautiful and cozy, but I couldn’t figure out what the machines were and what I needed to do, and I’m gutted I’m missing out on something that everyone else loves.

Just played Cat-ISTA! I came into this game expecting a coazy cage game... man I was wrong! This game gets intense fast, those cats demands treat so fast! The Gameplay loop is super fun but after while does get redemptive. Awesome job!
