Themes
I chose mainly two themes for this game: "All Systems Have Broken" and "Frick Around And Find Out". The first one I used because I already had an idea of a Pico 8 game in which every move would make the whole game reset causing beautiful glitches. And the second theme made me wanna do a sokoban game. So here it is - a glitchy weirdly working sokoban game.

Tools
I used Pico 8 and it was perfect for this challenge in every way.

Lessons
It was my thirst sokoban game and a game with levels in general so I had to figure out really a lot and I'll definitely use all this knowledge in the future.

I actually really enjoyed the game, thankfully I didn't have the issue of it hurting my eyes so i really enjoyed my time. Good job!

All these glitches so cute, especially I like the main character! But... Yeah, it's hurts my eyes sometimes. :D Anyway interesting sokoban game.

Nice work putting together your first sokoban game! It felt and looked great but like some others said, it can be a little hard on the eyes and definitely rough for those with epilepsy. Very much enjoyed the use of the glitchy weird stuff for the theme though!

hahahah Thank you for playing and for this review! I agree that it's definitely not epilepsy friendly, but i was too obsessed with the glitch thing and just could not help it but making it like that!))

Nice take on sokoban and really well executed. The only thing I didn't like was not part of the game but the background on the game page which is not exactly epilepsy friendly and hurts my eyes :D

Developer

Thank you for playing! And i really agree with you about the background on the page)) I guess i need to make it a bit less glitchy and also put a warning hahah

the mechanics are really cool to combine things and make a sokoban at the same time, it's a really good idea. The whole artistic direction is sublime and original, I like it a lot. I agree with what you said on your itchio page (also very successful), on a sokoban it's better to be able to go back a step, the gitch is fun but a bit of a gadget for the moment.

Developer

Thank you so much for this kind review, I really appreciate it! Luckily I just received some good advices on how to pull through the move cancel feature even along with the glitches, so I'll try to add it as soon as possible))

Clever game! The glitching effect is cool, but you might want an epilepsy warning up front, and an option to turn it off.

Developer

Thank you! You're right about the epilepsy, I guess I really need to put a warning)) I don't know if I'll manage to turn off the glitches because it is by now too woven in the game code
