A great game like the ones I played when I grown up!
Really enjoyable and addicting. The only note problem I have found so far is that you start to lose oxygen even before going underground.
Really nice, game, well done! :-)
Nice music.
this was pretty fun, great animations. would have loved to see it blown up. difficulty I think could have ramped up faster. other than that, cool submission and a lot of room to expand, like crazy new tiles.
Cool game! As others have said, seemed a bit easy, for the most part I was just tapping down and left and right a couple of times.
Fun game! Graphics were super cute. One observation I had was that the game seemed to be too easy. I played through 5 levels or so and never ran low on air. Maybe scale faster?
Also, I never found a reason to have to dig through rocks. Maybe have spawn patterns were rocks surround an air canister? Or maybe just have more levels of dirt hardness, where part of the game is having to make judgments over which path is fastest based on the different hardnesses.
^^ Fun and arcade-y!
Really enjoyed the animation of the worms. The music was really nice as well. Fun game play!
Simple, well made game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Low Rez Jam games, if you would like to take a look :)
Fun to play. Nice music
Simple yet fun! I diggin it!
I love the music, and press the buttons to the rhytm of the music. The graphics are nice, the sprites and tiles are big, but perfect for this kind of game where you don't need high view distance. Self explanatory controls.
With some extra gameplay elements (different rocks, drills, powerups, bonus stages, etc...) it can be even better!
Very nicely done!
The music is really pleasant, the graphics are good, and the game loop is intuitive and makes sense. I had a genuinely good time playing it. With a little more development, back in the olden 8 bit days this could easily have been a big deal.
Simple and fun with good music and graphic.
For future update, add more power up and trap to make gameplay more challenging :).
Simple and very very adictive. Cool music too!
It was very addicting,
Great game, the fast pacing works really well :) Very addicting. You could have scaled the game up, so the resolution stays the same but it would be easier to see the details. Art ist nice!
Great, fun, addictive gameplay. I found myself pressing WASD faster and faster as my air ran lower. Visuals are great and the little worms that congregate around air are a nice touch. I could see this becoming a bigger game post-jam with upgrades and collectibles.
I like how you first explain what it means on the screen.
Loop of the game is very short and simple but it doesn't get boring because of search for air.
I think digging is somehow satisfactory in general too. (like minecraft lol)
Also liked the music.
Very simple to understand and easy to play. Has room to expand on that toolset. Nicely designed!
I like that it was basically in a 64 x 64 res port too, which worked well functionally and visually and didn't take anything away from the game play.
The difficulty curve was a bit easy for the most part, I didn't really feel that challenged even after 6 or so levels (maybe down to level generation?). Maybe some more hazards would of helped. For example flooding, toxic graves, explosive gas etc. The water drop animation clues me in to what might be a tile that floods my tunnel any way.
Really nice little game! Just needs a tiny bit more challenge to keep it interesting over a long period,
I used to be addicted to a game like this in an old Nokia brick phone. Awesome!
