It's a good and fun pixel-art version of "No Man's Sky" =) Great potential!

Not gonna lie, I don't get this game. Like, I don't understand what I'm "supposed to do". Or maybe there is no "what I'm supposed to do". This game can actually be pretty meditative (with the sound off :-D). It's definitely a cool concept - fly around space and planets and stuff, and explore things and such.

Awesome entry! I bumped heads with a couple of planets though haha. XD

i kinda love the sound design. enjoyed visiting a handful of types of space-bodies, getting a handle on the physics (neat that you can boost up to warp speed and then spin the ship around while maintaining your original heading, interact with planetary gravity, etc), and marveling at the wonders of procedural generation. thanks for sharing!

super cool, at some points though it didn't feel like i was going anywhere and judging distance is definitely tough. other than that, great submission. pretty fun to just doddle around and i was pretty mesmerized at what was going on with the screen as i approached a star.

I think I hit my head on distance planet. It's pretty neat, if only I could fly!

Also, I saw Uranus! 0_0

how do i open it on mac

it doesnt seem to work

Amazing. I tried to land on a planet but overshot...

Impressively little thing.. certainly spent a while flying about to see what's out there, before getting overly confident and smacking into a moon.

Submitted

Very nicely made, but a bit empty. It's an open-world exploration game (so there's not really a goal), but all planets are similar and quite empty.

Really Awesome game, I really enjoyed playing, music is bit of... uh-uh but, otherwise its awesome.

Submitted

Really cool idea, but a bit unpolished. The sound effects were... Yeah. I muted it :p

I couldn't get off of the starting planet, so I guess I was doing something wrong. A bit of a basic tutorial would have been good. Loved the graphics and the general idea though :)

Wow. Just wow.

Fun little experience! Am I correct that there isn't any way to go to the other planets (you just bounce off)?

FYI: You have a 28MB PDB file in your zip (100+ mb uncompressed) which is probably not needed, and is drastically increasing your download size :D

Great exploration game! Good controls. Incredible look. Needs a mute button or something. :D

OMG it's full of starz! Awesome for 10 hour!!

Submitted

This is really cool! I wish the sounds were more than static noises. Maybe some calming music would helped for better immersion. Controls need a little time to get used to, but it's fine. Other than that, I must say, it's really impressive!

Submitted

Dang! This is freaking awesome! 10 hours?? Amazing. Great job!

Very beautiful! I included it in my compilation video series of the Low Rez Jam games, if you would like to take a look :)
