Nice clean gameplay and boss patterns, my only problem was that it was more of a waiting game to attack the boss, maybe if they had more attacks where they were attackable it would be more engaging? Also I never really used the block twice, so maybe if you walked a bit faster with the block on but it was only 1 time use then cooldown and maybe if the block was a limited time thing that you press and block for a certain amount of time that'd stop you just walking around holding block. Overall, good first public project! Keep it up!

Gameplay reminded me a bit of the early zelda boss fights which was pretty cool.

Idk if there was an issue with the web build but I couldnt hear any music, wouldve been a nice addition to the entry! I enjoyed this submission c:

This is my first public project I've made and I've never experimented with music or sound in unity as of yet. I agree that music would have definitely helped, but I was trying to complete a jam and complete what I could in the time I had.

I have to agree with MarisonIO here, the game doesn't fit the theme very well. In my eyes, the term "Foddian" means that you gain progress slowly and lose it in chunks by making a series of mistakes. Here you do lose progress by making mistakes, but you don't ever lose it incrementally.
The gameplay could use some polish. Blocking is inconsistent, I occasionally died to a projectile while holding RMB. Controller support seems like it was left in accidentally, since you can't attack or block but you accelerate much faster than when using keyboard input.

The game bores me it feels like a perseverance test then anything else, there's not much to the aesthetics and the gameplay either. The idea of a boss battle isnt really fodian and I feel as though you didnt put much thought into the prompt.

Foddian games don't exist. They're basically fairer rage games. I made a game with patterns that are fundamentally predictable and learnable, with the risk of losing lots of progress at any point of the game. That's some of the key points that Otto put into the prompt.
