Great to see more beat 'em ups!
The animations and art are great (there are some quirks with enemy sprites changing size when they are punched though), and I really like these light effects on the boss level, but the music is mindblowing!!
Dash with variations is very cool, although there are not much place where to use it (it does not seem to be possible to lose, which is great for new players).
I can't see a way to finish any of the battles, the main character is stuck there forever alone.
But regardless of that, well done packaging so many things together, including the narrative part!
I’m glad you enjoyed it. We got too ambitious and had trouble narrowing down some ideas. Hopefully we’ll compete it at some point in the future.
This is a pretty nice beat-em-up game! It's fairly short, but I like the character designs and artwork. The punch moveset is solid, and the dash is pretty fun to use! And I liked that you had a different mechanic for beating the end boss. The audio presentation was great too, with good music and full voice acting!
I wish it was just a little longer so I could spend more time using the gameplay mechanics! As it currently stands, I think the story sections are longer than the gameplay. But they look really nice, so I didn't mind it too much! Nice work!
Thank you! We hope to update the game later on with everything more complete and refined!
I love that the normal dash turns the character around. It makes Elpida feels like a pro boxer.
Incredible art and music, congratulations for the game :D
Post : they forgot to remove the godot logo on the loading screen I think. D:
Yeah, we planned to have a logo for the title screen and the icon but we ran out of time. Godot can get a little bit of love, right?
godot deserves more love <3
