Ranked from 16 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.
How does your game fit the Magical Girl genre?
The protagonist uses the power of Outer Space Magic. Her normal attack summons either Star, Aurora, or Meteor. Her spell creates a void that damage everything on screen.
Which theme(s) do you pick?
Just to be save, I picked three: 1. World Vanquisher, 2. Grievous Lady, and 3. Re: Unknown X.
How does your game fit those theme(s)?
1. The protagonist's mascot wants to conquer the world. 2. The protagonist is sad in the epilogue. 3. Unknown X is from Touhou, Touhou is (mainly) a shmup, and this game is also a shmup.
If you follow any of the optional challenges, elaborate as you like.
The second boss throws washing machines at you. There is also an appearance of a washing machine in the epilogue. I believe some BGMs are Eurobeat.
Were the assets for your game made during the jam? Elaborate as you see fit.
Everything custom in this game is made by me during the jam. The rest are either free-to-use assets I gathered from the internet (listed in "Credit.txt" inside the game) or the RTPs from RPG Maker MV.

Been years since I last played Touhou; seems that I have lost my touch.
Still... did you just balance the game such that stage 1 is more or less equal to stage 4 of a typical Touhou game? :'D
One thing for sure I am not 1ccing this just to see the ending... If I have to make an excuse though, the bullets and the player character don't contrast enough from the background, making them hard to track using peripheral vision XP
Thanks for participating; I had fun -- and TIL you can make bullet hell using RPG Maker
Thank you for playing! Glad you had fun with my game.
In my opinion, the fun in Touhou really start at stage 4. Maybe that is the reason my first stage feels like the fourth stage of Touhou beside being a shorter game. I also want to prove that RPG Maker engine is not limited only for creating RPGs.
Anyway, thank you for hosting this jam!
I don't think I'll be able to 1cc this before the jam ends, but I really like this game! I had no idea you could make something like this in RPG maker, though I've only used VX Ace. You might want to fix the pause glitch, though. I love the characters and spell cards.
Thank you for playing! Glad you like it!
I will take a look on the pause glitch, thank you for bringing this into my attention.
Whew... well, I'll never see the ending
except that it's posted below on youtube, but I enjoyed playing through this on easy mode, even if it wrecked me! It's an impressive bullet hell game, and made in RPG maker no less... i feel like I've seen a lot of unique RPG maker games for MGGJ10.The story was a lot of fun, and the audio/visual presentation was all very nice. Great work!
Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed it.
Yes, I notice some non-traditional RPG Maker games in MGGJ10. It is nice to see everyone try to push the limit of the engine.
Beep Beep Boop... This game is great! Seriously had fun with it.
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoy it.
Also, thanks for streaming my game! Watching your stream was really exciting!
Incredible shmup, like, how is it made in 1 month lol????????? Easily feels like 2-3 months worth of effort (^o^)b
Btw did Hard 1cc no bomb on third try, so how does bomb look like? ^_^;
You did 1cc hard no bomb?! Even I need a dozen of continues to beat the game in hard. You are the real pro at shmup!
I don't remember how I made this in one month. I do remember sleeping like a log for the whole weekend after the submission period end though.
Anyway, thank you for playing my game!
I wanted to go straight for no miss too, but I didn't expect shmup to be 15-20 min long, very brave to go for a long length in game jam 😄
I like how Hard requires serious routing
I also regularly play shmups I guess :CB_shrug:
Interesting touhou-inspired game! I liked the bullet patterns a lot.
Thank you for playing! I did take a lot of inspiration from Touhou when designing the bullet pattern.
Nice Touhou-like bullethell game. Challenging but not too much (although I haven't 1CC it). The humour catches me. And washing machine XD
Overall I like this game
Thank you for playing! Glad you like it.
Cool and challinging game well done
Thanks!
As a bullet hell fledgling, I really appreciated the unlimited continues. I was doing alright until Harmonie demolished me like 10 times on Easy. Great vibes throughout with the music and art. Your writing was great too! I hope Luna got some sleep before her exam, I wasn't good enough to see the ending!
Thank you for playing! Don't worry, Luna got some sleep, still doesn't do well on her exam though.
That was an awesome danmaku! I can easily see it as a standalone game, not just a game jam entry.
Thank you so much for adding continues! It took me 5 of them to complete Normal mode though T_T, yet the difficulty seems to be pretty well-balanced. And it is impressive how you did all of that in RPG Maker!
I think most of the patterns of bosses are easier than most of the levels, but maybe that's how it should be (I haven't played Touhou since Undefined Fantastic Object).
Visuals, music, and sounds are all nicely aligned, and raining washing machines made me laugh. Definitely one of my favourite games so far.
The washing machines started as a joke when I saw the extra theme, but it does become one of my favorite part in the game.
I do notice the some part of the stages are harder than the bosses, but I don't want to risk making the game unbalanced by retweaking the bullet pattern.
Not to mention how counterintuitiveRPG Maker for making a bullet hell. I also afraid the stages are harder only in my mind at the time since I have developer bias.Anyway, thank you for playing! Glad you enjoy it.
I'm so bad at these kinds of games lol but I still had a lot of fun. I liked the art direction especially, and the sound design was also really well-executed!
Glad you like the art! It was one of my favorite things to do when making this game.
Anyway, thank you for playing my game!
I can't believe this was made in RPG Maker, did not get that RPG Maker feel/ vibe from it at all! Impressive! :O
A fun and light-hearted game through all 3 levels.
Great to see some different difficulty + bullet types in the game. (Personally liked the stars bullet option.)
I was wondering how the washing machine would be incorporated, it did not disappoint lol
I also liked the creeping notes slowly getting increasingly in difficulty + bullet type over that portion of the boss phase.
Great work on this!
Thank you for playing! Glad you like it.
I tried to push the limitation of the engine, making something non-RPG with RPG Maker. Glad it turned out well this time.
When I saw the optional challenge, I thought it would be funny if the enemy threw a washing machine at you.
