It has a simple yet very beautiful aesthetic, the controls respond very well. I liked it!
fun game! the art is simple but pleasing to look at, the music is very enjoyable and its very fun to control. But at the samie time the game would have benefited from more sound effects and some checkpoints.
Thanks! I'm really glad you liked the music :D
The development itself was really rushed - started too late near the end of the jam
I've uploaded a new version with a few improvements - the older version is still available until the voting period ends.
Cool game. I like your art. Probably the biggest problem for me was there are no checkpoints and almost no way to recover health. Then having to pretty much play the game from the start after dying.
Thanks!
I think opening a chest for getting a new spell could be a checkpoint, gonna implement something like that.
The game has nice artwork and level design + the spell mechanic is cool. I think there should be a cooldown during which you cant get hurt when you recieve damage, because I kept dying when I dropped underground. In any case, fun game!
Thanks! The development was extremely rushed and quick :D
There is a CD for damage but it's way too short currently - way less than a second I think.
Gonna improve these aspects.
The artwork is nice, the game is also fun to play. I died a lot and didn’t find a healing spell to recover my health. I think that things which hurt you like the spikes could be a little more obvious to the eye.
Great job nonetheless!
Thanks! I quickly convinced myself that "There is a crosshair for interactive stuff...hmm, will be enough." Haven't thought about the possibility to I should actually make it look like the player should approach it.
Gonna make the interactive ones pop out more.
