Wow awesome game! Really good example of minimalism & it feels really cohesive between the sound + the visuals + the colour gradients.
Keyboard controls work well & feel smooth.
Some kind of ingame achievements would be great, both in-run and across runs.
Minor suggestion, could there be a "dark mode" of the game, perhaps with the colors inverted? :')

I could only give 5 stars to everything.It is my honor to be able to participate in the same game jam as this game.
If i had any issues, it would be i have no idea what the reaper sounds cue are until a few games,and i have no idea how close the reaper to me is.

Delays happen and it’s okay. I’m also delaying my game by a few months, but the extra time will be worth it.

This was unique and pretty awesome! I agree with the other commenter regarding centering text instead of bottom left.
The neon particle water is very satisfying to watch! And the great sound help keep your attention. Very unique and artistic fishing experience! Might be cool the the text appeared in the middle of the screen with a cool effect of some kind. Felt a bit odd just staring at the bottom left corner sometimes hehe. Keep it up! Please check out my metroidvania game when you have time :D
Thanks for the suggestion! The text was a last-minute addition to make the game fully playable while muted, like a closed-captioning system in your peripheral vision. However, I do like the thought to stylize it more. Maybe if it looked nicer, I’d actually like it in the center too. 🤘
