Nice concept!

I was thinking to do a game with text input too! But I think a fps was not the best choice. It takes too long to do actions, maybe turning should not be with text input.

I couldn't finish the second level, because I can't pickup the key. :/

Really cool idea! Was a bit difficult at first, then got easier, but would have liked some indication on where to go or where the enemies were. I personally think the game would have been more enjoyable if the game wasn't a 1st-person view or the genre wasn't one that required fast actions, but overall it was pretty enjoyable.

I really liked this!  The idea to play a first person shooter with text input was not only unique, but also fun, and a great response to the theme.  I felt kind of like I was the captain of a ship at sea, yelling out commands to my crew, especially when I finally got my sights on an enemy and typed in "fire" as quickly as I could.  I don't know if you meant it that way, but nonetheless, I really liked the experience.  I think my only issue is that it would have been nice if your input history didn't spill out over the text box, as it made things not feel quite as polished.  But other than that, this was a great game overall.  Well done!

Thanks! The input history was one of my greatest enemies for this. I just realised then as well an easy way to fix it and am feeling mighty silly that I didn't do it

Really cool concept. I wish the turning was on set intervals like how walking only moves you a set distance at a time, although maybe that would make the game needlessly difficult. It also would have been nice if the commands where shorter or used some kind of short hand syntax like: “f” for fire, “w” for walk, etc. Once again though very interesting concept that could be turned into a full game given enough time.

This is definitelly unconventional. It's a great concept.

Very challenging when enemies are coming and you are at the wrong angle.

Cool man!

Cool idea, love the degrees on the gun to help guide the direction to turn. Very stressful when you need to shoot.

really cool concept! your probably already aware of this but you can go through walls, overall though great job

It's a simple idea with some... interesting execution that I managed to have a lot more fun with than I expected. The difficult controls made something simple seem stressful as I remote controlled my vehicle through difficult console commands to simply turn and fire. It felt like I was exploring somewhere unknown in some sort of rover.
