Fun concept. Had a bug on level 7 I think (maybe 8) where I could not trigger the win condition, despite clearing the level and reaching the end.

Really hard to read the dialogue between missions because it was small and aliased. I did want to get into the story, but it was difficult to discern.

Nice entry, would recommend refining the core idea (more variety & user friendliness) and revisiting how plot is delivered.

The path drawing is so fun!! I also extremely dig the aesthetic!

Had a lot of fun with this! Great job!

Watching you play is helping a ton with balancing levels. I dig your approach.

I enjoy me a puzzle game, especially one as clever and interesting as this.  Easy to learn, difficult to master.  Nice!

I appreciate it! These are just the bones, but comments like this make me feel like it's worth fleshing those bones out.

This is so much fun!

If you had a few moments of fun, I'm satisfied. All I want to do with game design is extend those moments!

I initially had no idea what I was supposed to do, but once I figured out the whole dragging thing it was alot of fun! I enjoyed the open puzzle structure and the ability to draw whatever path I wanted. Unfortunately, I got stuck on level 7. Even after killing everything (and drawing paths of repeating circles to ensure both units would target all enemies, because sometimes they wouldn't target those flying bug things), the portal still wouldn't let me move on. I have no idea what else I could do in the level. Outside of that, very nice.

When I put up the submission, I only had 7 levels done. I've been working on it since. I appreciate that you got that far. I've been trying to balance difficulty and variety in the levels, but like you noticed, the game won't let you progress after a certain point.

Shame it doesnt play throught itch io app !!! Surprisingly addictive, looks like a lost psp game :) I could imagine some cool variations in game play (overdrive button, delay button)

Developer

I try to design the stuff I make to play on phones, since I always have my phone with me. I just want to press a button or two and watch shit happen haha. I like what you're saying about the possible powerups and variations. Something that lets you control the game a little bit more. It'd be cool to BOOST past a danger zone or slow down and pivot to avoid shots.

I say it looks decent a few glitches the visuals are decent it was a good I hope you do more

also their was like not much lighting

Developer

Dynamic lighting would for sure be a boon. I'll see if I can incorporate that.

Fun puzzle game, i like the chibi character sprites with the 2 variants with regular clothes/mechsuit

its also fun that you didn't limit the movement to some turn based / set number of actions per puzzle and more for a unique approach with the manual path tracing.

good job :)
