Cute management sim with some happy little robot buddies.

PROS:

  • The music creates a nice ambiance of getting up and going to work and sets the tone for the game well.
  • The robots are super cute and makes you want to keep up with them since they're all your little buddies.
  • The gameplay seems pretty straight-forward and lets you get into doing the game loop right away.

CRITIQUE:

  • It feels like there were a lot of things that could be much improved with a UI overlay ...
    • Having a mini-map to know where your bots are relative to the current camera location so that you're not regularly panning to find a bot that's already completed its task.
    • Putting the cards into the UI rather than into the world so that they're always visible on screen and possibly give them tooltips when players mouse over them to give more feedback on what they do in the game.
    • Having some kind of "bot status" readout for each of your bots (possibly even with names for each of them to make them feel even more like your buddies). The status would give you a nice global view of the health of each bot (would also be nice if it was color-coded or something to make finding the right bot in the world easier.
  • There was some odd lag when attempting to move the camera, especially when I was at the edge of the world. Since panning the camera turned into a big piece of the game it "feels bad" when I get stuck on the edge and my controls feel unresponsive as a result.
  • I tried sending bots to specific resources that were closest to their current location, but they regularly didn't seem to path where I thought they would. It would be a super nice touch to have some kind of bread-crumbing visual that showed where the bots either intended to path or where they were currently pathing when they had a resource to go collect.

Cute little game! I feel like a bit more direction on what it is you're doing either in game or the description would be nice. I liked the art a lot

Had fun looking after the bots, congrats on the team effort!

When you select the robots you can imagine they are in a little bubble 💙

Interesting concept. I couldn't get any of the cards to do anything. Sometimes the scrolling got "stuck" or didn't work. But I never died, I think maybe it could be more challenging?

Cute idea, though, mixing bots with a garden.
