- Very strange sort of tech demo. It's a pleasant No Man's Sky kind of vibe. If the placeholder graphics were replaced with alien life forms and we had a concrete objective and win condition this could be pretty compelling. Weapon use and impact on the mushrooms is impressively juicy. Not bad for 2 weeks, hope you keep polishing it. Add the thinnest veil of a storyline. Heck, lean into the storyline as you seem to have a vision thats quirky and original with a lot of room for comedy.

I had a successful mission and made sure to take regular sips of water! 🐹 💦
Thank you for playing! Always stay hydrated!
Haha that's one hell of a concept XD
Had a good time trying this out, and i really like how you've made the interior of the mech not just a cockpit but a full living area, and the theme adds lots of humour to that by having the living area being a hamster cage complete with wheel, water dispenser, and access to the maintenance area via little plastic tubes, and of course your family photo on the dash when piloting :p
The map is also pretty big for a jam game O_o
Overall well done :)
Thank you for playing! I'm always an advocate for more animals in video games.
Fantastic mech interior and idea. The speed of the mech is really awesome too.
Thank you for playing! I'm glad you appreciate the interior, it was fun to make!
Pretty fun! I love the ambiance in your ‘office’ control module. The picture of your family back at home sells it. Harvest the mushrooms for them.
Thank you! Anything to feed my family.
Having mineral processing be a wheel was really funny. And having the ore come to you was a very convenient touch. Nice work.
Thank you for playing!
I've been waiting for Kerbal Space Program 2 for years. But now I got Gerbil Space Program instead, I'm fine with that!
I like it, the weapons were fun to use with satisfying explosions. And the picture of pilots Girbil family is very cute :)
I like how you have to walk around in your mech to reach different components. If in the future we get to usage out of the materials this could be really great.
Thank you for playing!
Actually the materials can be used, but I didn't make it clear at all due to time constraints. Once you collect the raw materials, the gerbil wheel is used to process them, and after running on the wheel for a bit, you'll hear a bell sound, which tells the player that the processing is complete, and those materials are converted to missle and laser ammo, mech speed and mech health. Although I realize that I never implemented running out of ammo, along with other things.Ohh I see! I did use the processor, I did not realize it converted stuff to ammo. Knowing now that it produces ammo, I will now assume that the wheel is basically just rodent powered a nuclear centrifuge :D
Awesome foundation! I love the fact you can walk around the cockpit, and the running wheel for processing materials. Definitely see a lot of potential for a fun little game! Even in its current state, it's fun to run around and pummel those mushrooms with lasers and missiles and see them whip back in response.
Thank you for playing and for the input! I had a lot of fun making the mushrooms and making them wiggle. The ability to walk around the cockpit was inspired by Outer Wilds, and gerbils in particular love their cozy little spaces :).
