I would have liked to have more different options, it was over too quickly for me. If you are looking for inspiration you could try using Chat GPT to draft some different options. I made a pick a path story using it and it helped a lot.

I beat the enemy mech! You may want to make this game a HTML5 game embeedded in Itch, rather than downloading the HTML5 file itself.

It's great to see another twine game submitted to the jam! The descriptions didn't give me hints about which the "right" choice is, punch or kick? so the experience felt unfair to me. The reset button on the game over screen made it quick and easy to test out the other options. I saw you're not done making things with Twine, and checked out the other games you've made even in the last week! You've got hyperlinks, and you've got story-branches that are trimmed down instead of growing out of control, you've got the basics down, keep going!

While I do like the idea of a text-based mech battler, I unfortunately feel like this really falls flat. Text games should play to their limitation of not having graphics by using more detailed descriptions of action, and hopefully more branching options than just choose punch to win. A text-based mech battler could absolutely work if there were more detailed mech descriptions, more choice over actions, descriptions of the environment, etc.

(Real quick: the game isnt a physical game, a physical game is like the keeyp print&play) this game is SHORT, i had to press 5 buttons for my review, and i feel like it couldve been longer, try playing a hat in time's hall of the felines mod, that's a perfect example. The itchio page can use lots of work
