Wow yet another super solid solo submission. I got stuck on the edges of ledges a lot, that was my main gripe.  Love the graphics and art theme, as well as the lighting and particle effects. So you made all of these yourself or your team mate did? That's pretty good, frames were smooth and I liked the sound as well. Great entry!

Thanks so much! This project was solo, so all assets (except font and like half the sfx) were created for this project by me. I'd love to work with others especially on music because mine could use some work lol. In regards to the edge issue, I noticed that after submitting the game as in the unity editor I didn't have issues with it, but it's definitely something I need to pay attention to in future projects! I believe using a box collider was a bad move for the player and a capsule would be ideal to prevent this.

Yes spot on capsule collider for players is what you would normally use so it doesn't get stuck. That's amazing, if you are interested reach out to me on discord or grab my email from my portfolio (linked on our game page). I can connect you with some audio people if you want.

Very nice audio feedback and weapon variety! I think the jetpack also would have benefited from providing stronger lift and for a longer period since the required height to reach was too precise to hit consistently with standard physics. I also had a bit of a hard time trying to dodge any of the enemy projectiles due to the tight corridors, but that did also lend it a nice bit of challenge.

Developer

Thanks for trying it out! I agree with you on the jetpack, some of the upgrades increase jetpack lift, however after seeing others try it I realize it should have been faster so that the player could utilize it for dodging more effectively.

Nice game, the jumping can feel slightly difficult at times though. It's also quite difficult!

Developer

Thanks for trying it! I think the bigger issue about jumping was my lack of a tutorial for the game. You're able to double jump by using your shield as a single-use platform, but I didn't convey the info really well haha.

new favorite! I would like to point out that when we press spce to close to a wall then it doesnt work properly.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for trying it! Also thanks for the feedback about the wall rubbing issue, I'll make sure to find a workaround in my future projects!
