Awesome tower defense game, with loads of content !

I really had a lot of fun playing this one, and i’ve spent quite a bit of time with it cause i had to grind to see a bit of what weapons were available, had a good laugh at some of the goofier options even if i still couldn’t afford most of these past wave 20 ish to test them myself :p

The eco theme is also pretty sweet. I like the spritework in general, the main character is nice, the enemy tanks got quite some variety, the turrets are big and chunky as expected, and like i mentionned the weapons, whith the very out there upper tier designs like the stacked double barrels, a litteral ship cannon XD

My main issue would be with the sound, more precisely the volume, i found the strategy that worked best for me while playing was to have minigun turrets all over the place, however when they all start firing it gets LOUD O_o

But gotta say other than that issue sound wise i dig the music especially the main menu song \m/ è_é

Great job you guys :)

I love the art theme for this, especially the paralax background. It's a shame the cannons were getting stuck. Cool concept and lead in, I think it really has a lot of potential. The blue writing colour looked out of place and didn't go with the colour palate IMO. Music was great too, well done!

This is a cool game, it sort of soft locked for me though. The bullets wouldn't past a collider from either the towers, the player character or the tanks.

Developer

Hey dungeon, thanks for lettings us know about this. We fixed the issue in the patch, so hopefully you can play this how we intended it :

Really cool concept that works well! I did notice some bugs (the worst one I found was that tanks would stop at the invisible barrier to try to shoot my farthest turret, but no bullets would pass through so they'd just be shooting at each other until I sold the turret), but nothing too game breaking. I also liked the pixel art! I think the UI could have benefited from also being pixel art to make the game more cohesive, but it still looks good as is. Solid work!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! We were able to fix this issue in the bug fixes update (we ran out of time to test) so hopefully you can play this as we intended now!

I really like this one a lot! The art is cool and I like the little touches of detail in the background. The game could use a little more vfx (nice explosions!), maybe add some screen-shake, or other particle effects. I really like how many unlockables there are. I played 22 rounds trying to save up for the grenade launcher, but it seemed like the credits would stop rolling in halfway though the battle. not sure if this is a bug, or caused by the enemy advance. Great work, either way, it's a very cool prototype :)

Developer

thank you! I really enjoyed your submission too, I love the approach you took. Also all bugs are features for a jam right? Lol

Thank you, and I totally agree! 2 weeks is just enough to make a prototype, polishing can come later :)
