It's fun to play, looks nice and the sfx and music are also good.
Spritework is pretty nice but the portraits being less pixelated than the game looks odd to me.
The sword slash midair always stars to the right instead of starting in the direction the player is facing, it also would be nice if you could shoot down while standing.
Also changing to a ponytail and attacking the board are some nice details.
opitcally an epic game!
Looking pretty neat so far, though I got stuck after beating the second boss and getting the charge beam, I don't know where to go next and what I can use the charge beam on.
That's actually the end of what I got lol
Oh I see! There wasn't an end state or a message that the demo ended so I thought I wasn't getting something, haha
Coming back to EDIT, this was a neat little game! Personally I would make the sword combo a bit faster, and the character stagger when she gets hit much shorter, as it's a bit of a pace killer, but otherwise you have the makings of a fun game here!
