Very cool to see an NES entry! Lots of character for that reason. There wasn't much content, but it's a nice concept. I think it would benefit from a Readme file with recommendations on emulators used in production and/or suggestions for getting that installed for anyone interested in playing. Cool idea!

It made for some very interesting glitches. Either way, nice work! I don't know how easy NESMaker is to use but there's something playable here that runs on older consoles, which is cool.
There isn't much else to say as there wasn't much content, but the platforming felt solid.
Like the rest of the comment section, I was not able to test the game, and I really wanted to give it a try 🙁
maybe you could try this https://www.matthughson.com/2020/07/17/nesdev-embedding-an-emulator-on-itch-io/ to allow more people to play (no idea of it works though)
Mesen doesn't load your file. Usually I don't download emulators, but I downloaded it a while back to play FF1. Its a shame because I didn't know about NESmaker and was interested to see what someone could do with it.
If you do manage to fix the issue, let us know so we can play.
I downloaded NES emulators just to try the game, but these were my results:
Neither Mesen, Nestopia UE nor QuickNES could launch the game.. I'm using RetroArch, so I tried without RetroArch. Standalone Mesen couldn't launch the game either.
So yeah.. this just falls flat as I can't play the game :\
If you have any tips as to how I could play it, let me know.
I can't get it to play. I guess I have to use a NES emulator to play it right?
