great work!! great work!!

i like the level design and the camera movements. the artwork is also noteworthy.

the only thing i would like to point out is that its missing some extra effects. like post-processing and particle effects.

everything else is just  AMAZING <3

some lovely art and some clever world design, like looping back to be back near the start with powers needed to then progress further.

As others have mentioned a bit more feedback would help especially on the boss fight in my opinion, as I really wasn't sure I was doing the boss damage (until the boss defeated sign came up), maybe you could add some hurt sound effects or flash the boss a different colour for half a second or something...

I really liked some of the little artistic touches like popping the healing balloon with your weapon, and the sword flourishes.

Feels like a great basis to make a more complete game on top of, but still a good job!

I like the character art and the sword abilities. The combat could use more visual feedback, and having music would be a great addition to this. The scenery is interesting, and I think some of the platforms could be semisolids.

It's a nice start! And I really like when I see characters and environments with personality. Kudos!

Wow, your art of character is cool. The traps is not too much but quite reasonable. I just say that the attack animation to slow and too hard for me to combat :( and I don't use skill any more because I can stun boss until him dead :v but maybe you will update it and make the boss more challenges. Great work, GG!

Beautiful game — the protagonist immediately got me excited to play this because they're so cute. And the environment design made exploring all the more enjoyable. As for some feedback:

  • The attack animations are quite slow. It maybe would've felt better if the sword had a slow wind-up but huge damage and the spear was quick but took more hits to kill enemies. Instead, they equally felt slow and did seemingly the same damage. I also felt the timing between the animation and the registered hit felt off.
  • Gravity feels a little over-tuned. The protagonist drops super fast which makes timing jumps trickier.
  • More checkpoints would've been nice. The healing orbs help, but I found myself replaying large stretches after dropping down a pit of thorns and enemies which became more frustrating than fun.

With that said, the world alone was enough of a selling point for me. Hopefully there will be more added after the jam because I'd like to see what'll be added in the future.

Thank you a lot for playing and feedback. I'm glad you are interested in my work,  I also have a plan for an update based on everyone's feedback after the jam.

The art for this is really good! And the animations too! The swaying of trees. The movement of the player character! All very good! I can imagine some nice background music would help this a lot as well as a few more sound effects.

Controlling the player is a little difficult, but I think that’s because of the camera. When the player is falling, we can’t see what’s below us very well. At the very beginning there’s a jump up and then down to where an enemy is. But we cant see where that enemy is, and so it’s a gamble jumping down to progress.

With some work this would be really cool though!

We’d love to know what you think would make our game cooler! So if you would, please play, rate and leave a comment and let us know what you think about our game! Thanks!

Good player and boss animation. Player are strange but the dash power fix this problem and make the player gameplay better.

Good job.
