Yay for Mac versions!

What a COOL aesthetic. Love it.

I did not see a point to the pot pickup and throw system.

In general, I feel like there's too many snakes to feel like a fun, fair challenge that can be overcome with practice. It often just feels chaotic (which is totally fine for a one-off moment, but it's often like that.) The problem is exacerbated when a snake is right by an entrance to a room. You can solve this by learning from AAA shooter / action / stealth game design; they always provide some form of cover (be it high ground, darkness, or literal cover) when you enter a new area to give you a safe spot to survey, map, and plan how to tackle the challenge ahead.

I really enjoyed your ending naviagational puzzle, that was a nifty "A-ha!" moment.

You could definitely make this into a full game if you wanted to.

Hello,

I enjoyed every second of the game. I really liked the MC mobility, perspective, art direction, level design. I could spend days moving around from room to room in a maze-like level design like this one. Please do more!

Congratulations!

Cheers

PS: don't hesitate to try to finish our game :)

Not much here, but it's a fun start for a game. Looks amazing, I really like the mixing of 2D sprites and isometric 3D style. The snakes broke like they were pots, lol.

Game was fun! The visuals were really nice and there was some interesting navigation to be done where you were rewarded for keeping track of room layouts in 3D.

Feels very polished, which is always great to see! The core mechanic of grabbing and throwing stuff is fun and makes it unique. Good visuals, good sound, and really neat perspective. Would love to see this elaborated on. My two complaints:

  • Didn't really feel a sense of progression, just kind of wandered around and ended up at what seemed to be the ending room
  • The player can walk off ledges, which makes it even hard to keep track of where I've been/where I need to go

The visuals are very good and unique; the pick-up and throw system is quite satisfying.  It doesn't seem to have any reason to fight the enemies, so I just run past them after being jumped on multiple times. lol. But overall, it is fun to play.

I love the atmosphere of this game. The music and the gameplay makes for really nice vibes. The slightly moving camera perspective shows so much depth and makes the game world feel alive. I just really love the style basically.
Throwing pots/snakes is also really fun. Would definitely play the hell out of a full version! :D

Edit: the game is now "finished"! Hope you enjoy.
The game is playable but very unfinished. I'm planning to update it after the deadline, so check back in 24hrs for a better version!
