Loved this jam, it's a shame I started late otherwise would've had a lot more fun with it!

Very cool retro vibe.

Zelda references nice

Enjoyed myself playing the game, graphics and music were pretty nice, once again, the player what a bit difficult to control, but I had a controller so it was less bad. Good work!

The graphics were very nice, reminded me of NES-era games. I liked the opening story bit as well, as I feel like that’s an important part of setting up a game. Overall, cool entry

The initial  text felt like the opening for Final Fantasy, and i really liked it! The controller feels good most of the time, some times is hard to land over an enemy. I never felt lost, each area feels distinct enough and i could find my way back if i took a wrong turn.

I really love the reference to Zelda! But the key mapping needs a little bit of work to be more easy/intuitive to use ^^ (but I appreciate arrow keys instead of WASD, it's easier when everybody didn't have the same keyboard).

The graphics were neat btw!

Thanks! Honestly, key mapping wasn't one of my priorities at all (after physics, gameplay, map creation, and graphics), but I completely understand. X is a weird choice for a default jump key, I know, and the others (aside from the arrows) aren't intuitive at all. If I keep up with this project, that'll definitely change.
