Pretty cool game. Platforming was genuinely fun, very interesting game mechanic with the "rebirth". A genuinely original idea.

I think this is really unique, the gameplay and everything. The only thing is the theme, as I don't see too much Renaissance inside of the game.

Very clever idea for a central mechanic, instantly I saw what you were going for and loved it, there's so much room for iteration on puzzles and different ways you could get the player to interact with the environment. As others have mentioned the movement was a bit stiff, getting caught on walls when falling was a bit tricky to navigate in places but the concept won me over wholesale. Definitely think you should keep going with this one, great work!

I thought your idea was unique, I don't know if I've seen that idea in a platformer before. I wish the controls were a little cleaner, and I kept getting caught on walls. Great job making as many levels as you did, I would have liked to have seen more mechanics or puzzle variation, but I had a good time playing your game. Keep up the good work!

I thought this concept was pretty creative. would like to keep that creativity without the suicide concept. But the checkpoint puzzle thing is novel and enjoyable.

Wholesome and sweet game with a powerful message that suicide is okay.
Just kidding. Fun Concept, althought in some levels I could activate the checkpoints from further away than the zone indiacted was which seemed a bit weird and cheesy. One gripe I had right away was that dying is too slow, imo it would be much better if the player teleported to the checkpoint as soon as he touches spikes or falls out of bounds, since this is a game that is really satisfying to speedrun, and constantly keep moving wothout any interruptions. One of the most interesting concepts in this jam!
